For 100 million... I don't know. For the sake of participating, i'll say yes.

- Library (15)
- University (7)
- Phone Call (7)
- Spotify (4)
- Soup/Sandwich (2)
- YouTube (5)
- Either Netflix (5)/Hulu (5), Arts Studio (10), or Sound Room (10)

I have to start with the 2 point king bed; I'm too tall for a twin bed, but if a twin XL were available for 1 point, I'd be happy with that unless I selected the clone companion.

Next is food. 2 points for soup and sandwiches and 2 points for non-alcoholic drinks is the minimum.

Then 10 points for the heated pool and hot tub.

Next comes 15 points for the PC, total so far is 31 points, leaving 19 or 29 points to spend depending upon the payout level I select.

So that's the bare minimum, now for the extras.

22 points would get me the internet, but I'd have to select the lower payout to get it. I can live without the internet in exchange for an additional 95 million dollars

If it weren't for the fact we'd be prohibited contact afterward, I would be tempted to spend 25 points for the clone companion. Given how I'd want a clone companion conditioned since we'd be imprisoned together with neither of us able to escape, it would be cruel to her if she could never be able to serve me ever again.

Instead, we'll add the library and journal for 17 points, leaving me with 2 left to spend on nick-nacks like the ceramic Dalmatian you could get on the daytime version of Wheel of Fortune back in the day.

The only worthwhile nick-nack available for just 2 points are the puzzle books.

If I could talk my captor into giving me a twin XL for just 1 point, I'd take that and a deck of cards instead of the king bed.

For the 37 points on PC/Internet, is that full use of the Internet? If so, I can use it to go to all of the video streaming sites, read newspapers, do virtual puzzles and decks of cards, do online classes, etc.

So I'll do that and spend the remaining 13 on bed upgrade, skylight, fast food, and I guess I'll take the puzzle book too since I have 2 more to spend.

I doubt it has anything you have to pay for, so you could YouTube, but not Netflix or take classes for credit, except maybe if you already had enough for that in your bank account to pay for ten years and were allowed access to your personal funds for amenities, which somewhat defeats the point of this thought experiment. Even then, not many people in this hypothetical situation would be able to do that.

PC and internet are a must, so that's 37...13 left...well, drugs I guess...6 left, so bigger bed, soup/samiches and the puzzles.  I could do that standing on my head (assuming this is a world where I wouldn't miss my wife and kids).

I would downsize my payout to 5 million dollars (which is still a whole lot) so that I have 60 points to spend.

15 points for the library.
5 points for the fast food option assuming places like La Pia and similar takeaways in general are included.
2 points for the non-alcoholic beverages.
10 points for the basketball court.
7 points for the phone call.
5 points for the letter.
4 points for Spotify.
4 points for the skylight.
2 points for the journal and writing material.
1 point for the deck of cards.

I have no idea what to spend my remaining 5 points on. I guess a subscription to La Repubblica?

Take the lesser payout, followed by:

5 Fast food
2 Non-alcoholic beverages
15 Library
10 Music room
10 Pool
5 Letter
5 YouTube
4 Spotify
4 Skylight

Hm, interesting premise I'll think it over, this is my first instinct answer I suppose

Take the lesser payout, and...

10 Gourmet Meals
15 Library
5 Newspaper
5 Letters
7 Phone Call
2 Aquarium
8 Dog (Probably a Golden Retriever or another Lab of some kind)
On second thought I'm not sure I'd want to bring a large dog into this small space, as the only big space I have is the library, hmmmmmmm

If I’m going to a fake jail, let’s make it horny jail.

So, that’s almost half the points right there for a nice lady friend. I’ll split the five million with her for her trouble (assuming she doesn’t get five million as well)

25 - lady friend
4 - Skylight (hopefully it has blinds that I can shut)
8 - Psychiatrist - I already need one
2 - Soup/Sandwiches
2 - Non Alcoholic Beverages
2 - King sized bed
5 - YouTube - has music on it, so I don’t need Spotify
5 - newspaper
5 - One letter a month - I feel like I could get more out of a letter than a single hour long phone call
2 - blank journal

I now have an idea: 5 points for YouTube to follow the Mass on live streaming. But seriously why isn't religious service included? Smh

Another answer I made, I'll keep the other one up just because

Take the lower payout (what is 100 million to a man who has lost his sanity?)

10 Gourmet Meals
15 Library (don't need the university degree if I'll be reading thousands of books with no internet)
4 Skylight (Circadian Rhythm matters)
5 Letters
7 Phone Call
2 Aquarium
8 Dog (Probably a Golden Retriever or another Lab of some kind)
8 Psychiatrist (Human contact is very important without overspending on the companion)
1 Playing Cards

I now have an idea: 5 points for YouTube to follow the Mass on live streaming. But seriously why isn't religious service included? Smh

Visits to a chaplain would be a strong addition for purposes of both religious practice and interpersonal fulfillment. Since there'd obviously be no dancing around in the forest under a full moon for any of my ritual interests, I guess I'd just hole up in the music room and drum myself into a trance.

You could dance around in the personal garden with the full moon shining through the skylight.

Taking the reduced payout.

- PC/Internet (essential for outside contact and limitless activities) 37/60 points

- Fast food (there's a lot of diversity here - Panda Express, Chipotle, Five Guy's, Panera) 42/60 points

- Non-alcoholic drinks (huge plus for only two points) 44/60 points

- King-size bed (again, huge plus for two points) 46/60 points

- Skylight (seeing the outside, even a little bit, will be a huge mental health boost) 50/60 points

- Kitten (I prefer cats, and having a living creature I can hold will be a huge plus) 58/60 points

- Aquarium (best 2-point option left, I guess it's a cool decoration) 60/60 points

Am I the only one who wants the garden? It’s a lot of points but you can do a lot with it. You get the skylight and greenery (so you don’t go insane), fresh fruits/vegetables from the plants, the ability to ferment your own alcohol, the space to engage in physical activity (including dancing among the trees in the moonlight, as mentioned above), an endless number of hobbies to pass your time doing, and so on.

Normally I don't like these goofy hypotheticals, but why not?

- Fast food 3x per day (5/50)

- Non-alcoholic drinks (7/50)

- Companion (32/50)

- Monthly phone call (39/50)

- Newspaper (44/50)

- Deck of Cards (45/50)

- King-sized mattress* (47/50)

- Puzzles* (49/50)

I wish there was one more 1-point item available, but oh well. Tongue However, if high speed internet isn't a requirement for streaming it, then replace the items with asterisks with YouTube for a grand total of 50/50.
