What is your opinion of this quote that is being said more and more by police officers, especially on their social media accounts:

"You may hate us, curse at us, threaten to kill us.....but we will still come at your aid when you call, no matter WHAT". "I would take a bullet for you".

An awesome Atlas plot twist will come when it's revealed that Bronz's family, friends, and neighbors really do say these things all the time and he's just honestly asking for our thoughts.

Bronz, you are obviously white because people living in minority communities have known for years that police protection is hit or miss. And the Supreme Court has ruled on multiple occasions that the police have no liability if they fail to do their jobs.

On paper it's a freedom quote because it implies that the police always do their job equitably, but that is not the case in reality and is the underlying issue of why communities of color have so much distrust in them.

I understand that. This is why a lot of people believe that minority communities should probably lose police--and fire services and they should utilize the Malcolm X model---do it yourself---and leave the rest of America alone.

White suburban Republicans already laugh and don't care anyway, but the policing in America needs to change.
