Anyone care to explain how SDAs would be Christian but Branch Davidians wouldn't be?
Also, I find the Unification Church kind of interesting in that their theology seems almost like someone took all the core ideas of Protestantism and ran as far as possible in the other direction.
Some SDAs are Trinitarian, so I gave the group as a whole the benefit of the doubt. I admit that I know little about the Branch Davidians other than David Koresh and Waco, so I am open to hearing more about them.
The Davidians are a splinter from SDAs in the 30s. The Branch Davidians were actually a splinter off this splinter, called just "The Branch" hence the name.
Where did the gun stuff come from?
