Honestly, the whole “Manchin is a Republican” shtick here is getting old. If he really wanted to be one, he would’ve been out years ago. He doesn’t, and it’s ridiculous people keep saying it. You want to know why Manchin is always the one saying this? He’s the fall guy if more Liberal Dems dont want to support something but don’t want to upset the liberal base. They can ask Manchin to be the one to come out against it so they don’t have to.
