Tennessee internet personality Chris Crocker runs for Tennessee governor, aiming to be the first LGBTQ governor of a Southern state....against incumbent Republican Gov. Bill Lee.

In a Trump midterm, with him reelected in 2020, and in November 2022 with a 23 percent approval rating, how does this race play out?

I think Crocker can pull it out, maybe 51%-49%.

He is a gay white rural man who lives in the conservative rural areas......a lot of young people in those areas who don't vote, and they would be inspired by a gay person running for office....a lot of young Evangelicals in Williamson County may even turn out for Crocker.

Even if Crocker is pro-choice, or pro-LGBTQ, socially progressive for Tennessee, he has stated in the past that he has to get along with conservative Tennesseeans because Tennessee is conservative.....that's the area he lives around

First of all, Chris Crocker — gay porn star most famous for his “Leave Britney alone!” viral video from 2007 — would never win any election, least of all in Tennessee.

Second of all, why do you seem so obsessed with the vote of young LGBT people in conservative states lately?

You don't think Crocker would win an election in California, New York, or a Oregon? He's from rural East Tennessee, from TN-1, the most Republican district in Tennessee. He does not look "gay" or feminine, he actually looks "masculine" now.

A lot of young LGBTQ people in the South lean Republican because some of them are economically populist or fiscally conservative.

It's Tennessee lol, it doesn't matter if Trump's approval is 20%, the Republican would win
