Jennifer Granholm's dismal poll numbers are due to the changing demographics of MI's upper pennisula becoming more Republican, since 2000, where DeVos is getting alot of his support from.

I like rich people just fine.  I have no problem with Mr. DeVos being filthy rich.  However, there is a difference between someone who is rich and is interested in public service for the good of the people, and someone who is rich and interested in public service to expand their power and wealth.

If you do not hate wealthy people, why are you tauntingly ask his supporters how many yachts they own?  What relevance does that have to interest in public service for the good of the people?

Maybe partially, but the UP is only about 3 percent of the state population; it can't be having that much effect.

And the UP's demographics aren't changing at all really, it's the parties that are changing, and the UP is populist, so as social issues become more prominent it has started voting more Republican for President.

Can't Granholm do any better, considering her opponent is an Amway salesman?

I've had dealings with Amway salespersons before...strange people. They try to sucker you into selling for them with promises of independent wealth.

If I lived in MI, I sure as hell would not want DeVos as governor. Michiganites, re-consider your support!
