If the Lieutenant Governor should for any reason vacate his position, a special election shall be immediately held to fill the seat for the remainder of the term.

Since we technically have no Governor or Lt. Governor, I guess it falls on me to run the special election. Joy of joys. This whole duel thing is just a conspiracy to make me do work, isn't it?

Anyways, I'd like to get this over with as soon as possible, so I'll hold the election itself starting 12:00AM Monday, July 17 and ending 11:59PM Wednsday, July 19. If you object, make it known now so I can smack you upside the head with my gavel for being retarded(unless of course you can point out some legitimate constitutional thing of course, but then I'll just smack you for complicating things).

Sam's already announced his candidacy for Governor, so I'll put him on the ballot. If anyone wants to run for Gov or Lt. Gov let me know at least 6 hours before the election starts and I'll put you on the ballot - past that I can't gaurantee anything and you'll just have to deal with a write in. Not much time I know but if you bitch about it there'll be a meeting of your head and my mighty gavel of doom.


In the meantime, I'm the highest legal authority in the Southeast as of now, so I'm in charge - that's right, you have to do what I say. Given the nature of the situation, I think it's only prudent to declare myself Supreme Overlord Magistrate for Life(aka the next few days) and rename the Southeastern Region to be The Municipality of the Fancy Cheeses. All my enemies(though they be non-existent) shall hereby be put to the sword by my army of hobos. Those who disobey my will shall receive a lovely fruit basket, but it shall lack fruit and shall instead contain those horrible girly scented candles from Bath & Body Works. And remember - I have NOT gone mad with power.
