Schumer said that there might be a vote this evening. If so, it'll likely be on Avril Haines for DNI.

538 hasn't done any writeups on Biden nominees like they did with Trump. Infact I haven't heard much in the news about Biden's nominees so far

Yeah, and the NYT isn't keeping track of the Senate voting like they did in 2017. It actually feels normal and nice.

She's being groomed to take over in the next Democratic Administration.

Trump used the term "highly respected" all time, and usually the opposite was true.

In all seriousness, seems like a solid choice. California is pretty well represented in this administration: Kamala Harris, Xavier Becerra, Aljeandro Mayorkas and Isabel Guzman are all of cabinet rank.

Janet Yellen as well.

Janet Yellen is from New York. She's a born and bred Brooklynite like myself.

Yes, but her home state is California. She was the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Hawley voted no on Yellen, to no one’s surprise.

Raimondo will probably breeze through.

Granholm was confirmed 64-35 and voting on the cloture motion for Cardona is going on now.

The NAYS for Granholm were:
Capito (R-WV)

This was Capito's first No vote.

Considering that native Americans are the only reason she still has her seat, it would've been stupid of her to even think about voting no.

Gensler confirmed 54-45-1. Scott (R-SC) showed up this time.

Monaco confirmed 98-2:

NAYs ---2
Cruz (R-TX)
Paul (R-KY)

Wait, Josh Hawley voted for a Biden nominee?

Yeah, he also voted for Tai and Rousse.

And Harris already ties Al Gore for number of tie-breaking votes cast (four), although she's still well behind HW, Cheney. and Pence among recent VPs.

She'll easily add two more votes to the record if no Republicans change their mind on Kahl.
