I of course support Havana if Beirut chooses not to bid, which appears to be the case.

Chicago, that is of course unless Baltimore and Washington, D.C. are going to try again for the games.

One thing is for sure:  Unless they are held in South Africa, no African city has a prayer of ever landing an Olympics for the foreseeable future.  Ditto to Cuba, and South American cities.

Toronto. Montreal doesn't deserve to host the games after they ruined the 1976 games.

Especially NOT Toronto.  We've got NO public transportation system worth talking, and I shudder what would happen at the airport.  Besides, we don't even have stadiums.  No.  Give it to some other place.  It is not welcome in Canada.  Canadians do not want this in our country.

Yes we do. Of course you wouldn't you're just an American-wanabee Conservative. Of course you don't have the stadiums, no city has them that hasn't hosted before. That's why they need to be built.  As I have told you before, every olympics since 1984 has made money, or at least has broken even. If done right, it's great for the local economy, especially in the long run.

2016 will go to the US, I'm hoping for Chicago. 2020 is almost a lock-in for Cape Town. 2024 will be in Europe, probably in Germany, Italy, Russia or France; i'm guessing Paris might finally get their games. 2028 will be in Asia, probably Japan, probably not Tokyo. It could be in Singapore, India or Malaysia; MAYBE Bangkok. 2032 will be in South America, probably in Brazil but possibly BsAs. 2036 in Europe, i'm guessing Moscow; 2040 is the first really open games. It'll either be North America or Australia, although maybe Istanbul will finally get them, dependng on wo ets 2036. That said, it's most likely North American.

Basically, my guess:

2000-Sydney, Australia OCEANIA
2004-Athens, Greece EUROPE
2008-Beijing, PR China ASIA
2012-London, England EUROPE
2016-Chicago, United States NTH. AMERICA
2020-Cape Town, South Africa AFRICA
2024-Paris, France EUROPE
2028-Osaka, Japan ASIA
2032-Sao Paulo, Brazil STH. AMERICA
-----------------after this point purely guessing------------------
2036-Moscow, Russia EUROPE
2040-San Francisco, United States NTH. AMERICA
2044-Istanbul, Turkey MIDDLE EAST
2048-Melbourne, Australia OCEANIA
2052-Cologne, Germany EUROPE
2056-Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ASIA
2060-Toronto, Canada NTH. AMERICA
2064-Milan, Italy EUROPE
2068-Buenos Aires, Argentina STH. AMERICA
2072-Shanghai, PR China ASIA
2076-Amsterdam, Netherlands EUROPE
2080-New York City, United States NTH. AMERICA
2084-Lagos, Nigeria AFRICA
2088-New Delhi, India ASIA
2092-Madrid, Spain EUROPE
2096-Auckland, New Zealand OCEANIA
2100-Houston, United States NTH. AMERICA
2104-Singapore, Singapore ASIA
2108-Vienna, Austria EUROPE
2112-Dubai, United Arab Emirates MIDDLE EAST
2116-Boston, United States NTH. AMERICA

I voted Melbourne, but we aren't bidding or even considering it. As far as I know, there is ony the 5 US cities, Fukuoka and Tokyo, New Delhi, Rome and Milan, and maybe Rio and Sao Paulo. There will be more in time of course, though.

The 2116 Olympics will be on the moon. Which should make triple jumping rather more interesting.

Toronto will deffinately try another bid in the future. They had the best bid for 2008, but Beijing won because the olympics have never been to China.

I doubt that India could afford the olympics only 6 years after the Comm games, but I would love to see them in India before anther US games.

Any city that is above 1500m you can rule out. World records are now in doubt.

Any city in Europe you can rule out because london has had the olympics.

the continent that has the winter olympics in 2014 you can rule out for 2016. they never give it to the same continent.
