The fact that the house minority leader and house minority whip is on that list tells you that there is no redemption coming for the republican party.

I am pleasantly surprised my representative voted the right way today. I don't know if it was principle or if they were cowed that the Devil actually came when he was called, but a win is a win I suppose.

Just to make one thing clear here.  I meant the subject heading literally.  But, although I'm not a lawyer, I certainly don't believe these Republicans are criminal accomplices to sedition.  I do believe that in what they've said and now in their votes they have enabled the thuggery we've seen today and could well see for at least the next two weeks, but I don't believe the actions of the Republican Representatives are criminal.

Sure, they aren't criminal, because objecting is within their rights. But they are deeply morally corrupt and should not be allowed to hold political office. They were actually trying to overturn the result of a democratic election WITHOUT THE SLIGHTEST SHRED OF EVIDENCE OF WIDESPREAD VOTER FRAUD.

When I was in high school, I seriously considered becoming a lawyer when we had a six week course on studying the U.S. Constitution.  There it is--the beauty of how American law should be practiced.

What happened yesterday was domestic terrorism and a direct threat on the internal security of our country--a complete intelligence and law enforcement failure.  It is sedition through and through.  And I am sure that if the constitutional fathers were alive today that they would advocate prosecution of the House scum.
