Was Ben Shapiro actually suggesting the election was stolen?

Not to my knowledge.  He is employed there so the tweet is technically correct, but a little misleading as a result.

I can't say for certain as I obviously don't follow the schmuck. However, it's hard to Envision anyone grifting the alt-right the last few months without being a loud advocate for the election fraud myth.

Quinnipiac (monthly), Jan. 7-10, 1239 RV

Approve 33 (-11)
Disapprove 60 (+9)

Strongly approve 26 (-10)
Strongly disapprove 54 (+7)

This is almost the worst showing ever for Trump in this poll; he was at 33/61 in July 2017.

The net change of 20 points since last month is extraordinary.  I don't recall ever seeing a shift that large.

60% think Trump is undermining democracy; 34% think he is protecting it.

53% think Trump should resign; 43% don't.

52% think Trump should be removed; 45% don't.

45% think Trump is mentally stable; 48% don't.

Quinnipiac was the most horrific pollster of 2020.

They were off by 13 points in OH, by 10 in FL and by 7 US-wide.

Trump’s probably down to around 40% right now.

Qpac has had a clear D lean the last few years, but I suspect Trump's approval is in the 30's.  Marist had it as 38/39 (adults/RV) last week, and Morning Consult is at 38 this morning.

Trump approval rating is definately down in the mid to high 30s(like it was in 2017)now even if QPac isn't a good pollster.

I'd bet they're closer to the truth than Rasmussen (48/51 today).

Definitely. FTR, I'm not opposed to pollsters like Monmouth/Marist/Fox News working to improve the accuracy of their polls, but Quinnipiac should just go away. It was always a horrible pollster - they had Clinton down by double digits in Colorado in 2016 IIRC.

And Biden +21 in ME, Biden +11 in FL, Trump +1 in SC, Biden +5 in IA, etc.

He didn't suggest it, clarifies Kinery herself in the first response to the tweet.

you dont need to look at a Quinnipiac poll in order to see that trump has clearly lost support after his people stormed of the capitol

as others on here Have already pointed out its True that Quinnipiac has always been more negative to Trump compared to others Pollsters and they clearly have a D bias but after the Capital riots I actually think the Quinnipiac is now much closer to reality than some want to admit.

To be blunt I just think that people are tired of Trump and its starting to show even is his approval ratings. Trump 4 years felt longer than Obama 8 and even some of my Trump supporting Friends are saying that they are feeling burned out and exhausted when it comes to even talking about Trump let alone defending him

Really good read here: https://arcdigital.media/qanon-woke-up-the-real-deep-state-72bbfcb79488

TL;DR: QAnon is about to reap the whirlwind.

lmfao @ caring that much about golf

This is a guy who's probably in the top 1% of golfers at his age but still feels a need to cheat when playing socially.

I asked a friend of mine who’s a police officer why some of these officers didn’t fire when clearly had justified shoots, and his reply was:
My service weapon has 12 round, and I have two spare mags. 36 rounds. In some of these cases, there was one or two officers running away from dozens of these guys. Hopefully you have 100% accuracy but you’re probably outnumbered and will be out of bullets quickly. If you get overpowered you’re gonna get killed with your own gun too.

I mean, I get that, it’s clear the officers were extremely outnumbered, but still. I figure after bodies are going down, some would have fled.

Not just "some would have fled," but many would have fled.
The number of dead or injured would actually be more, not from guard gun shots, but from people trampling each other as they try to flee the (even few) gun shots. (If the crowd is in a confined area, with few exit points.)
