No? I don't consider taking the banner from a literal church to be "acceptable." I'm just saying that it is getting more attention on this forum than all of the riots which you all repeatedly ignored this summer. Taking a banner from a church is bad, breaking windows and burning down buildings is really bad.

it's good that we're all in agreement that destruction of property is wrong and should be punished.  Hopefully the voters in Portland, Seattle, etc figure this out over the next couple of years.
