Both have been a mess.

Trump is corrupt, anti-democratic, anti-rule of law, white supremacist, and probably even more incompetent than Bush. GWB on the other hand needlessly entangled the country - and the world - in endless military conflicts (Iraq) which arguably led to the rise of ISIS.

If forced to choose in an election I'd probably go for Bush as the lesser of the two evils. But that's because I assume that I had to live in the U.S. and not in the Middle East.

Nevertheless I voted "neither" for the purposes of this poll.

This, though I still voted Dubya, because he didn't undermine the constitution like Trump and at least seems to be a nice guy in private. However, Trump's conduct should not let anyone forget Dubya's presidency was a total disaster.

Bush v. Gore is arguably an example of such.

While an outrage, it doesn’t compare to how Trump has spent his entire term undermining institutions, and is not quite as egregious in his personal involvement as Trump’s post-election antics.

On Economic Policy: Easily Trump, arguably the best or one of the best since LBJ, even while I vehemently opposed many thiings (tax policies)

On Non-Economic Domestic Policy: Trump

On Foreign Policy: Easily Trump. Best FP president since at least Reagan and excluding him Ike. Truman though clearly outclass him in every way. Since HST, it's between Ike, Reagan and Trump

On Leadership Skills: Easily Trump

As A Person: Bush, but if you exclude narcissism and sexism, it would be Trump

Overall: Trump by a mile

On Leadership Skills: Easily Trump

I definitely see your point on virtually everything else, but I'm not sure I follow you on this one.

Trump had no leadership skills (other than rallying his voters), and was a horrible representative of the nation (at least Bush behaved as a president and was capable of having cordial relations with other world leaders)

perhaps it's not "easily", but he never intended to start good relationships with other world leaders. That was part of the image he created. He certainly proved he's able to lead the GOP and his cabinet.

Anyone who thinks Trump is worse than W believes that Muslim lives don’t matter. Full stop.
