I'm sorry for my absence.  I am packing for a trip while planning a week-long conference while doing other work, and I have very little free time.  Plus I just found out that I am going to be in a place with no phone service (%&*) for a week yesterday.

I'll just say that as fun as DanielX's, I'd rather have a map that can be potentially remembered. Tongue

I will speak with Jesus about a possible Pacific submission (which we like to make, even if there's another option, just so there is competition).

Certainly has some good points, although seems a little Regionally-orientated in parts...

Of those that have been proposed, I think I like this map or Harry's the best.

You should probably be making that comment here- https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=42080.0

isn't this thread governors only?

1, 2, 5

Sorry, but I have very limited Internet access right now, and for some reason any page with large images (and this one has a lot) doesn't load correctly 95% of the time.

I would like to also approve of map 5.

That gives 4 approvals to map 5.

So which districts have which numbers?

I'd support the following numbering for the Governors to consider:

1-ME to PA
2-NJ to SC
3-MI to LA/FL
4-AK to IL
5-HI to TX

Then it can go in geographic order.

I don't see that Al approved of map 5. It's:

Fezzy, Daniel X, Harry, and Alcon.

Aw.

Well. Could have been worse. Could have been the kind of map we've had the last few years. Thankfully none of the proposed maps were that way.
