I want to think that the world would better if everyone were an atheist or secular humanist, but my knowledge of history suggests that the world would be very different but no better off overall. In my opinion, the positives would be no sectarian violence, less homophobia and transphobia, and more public trust in science. Everything else would be just as bad if not even worse for unforeseen reasons.
Eh, instead of fighting over religion, people would be fighting over the name of their science like in that South Park episode or something
