I know we've all been focused on the election but this deserves a mention, even or perhaps especially, from the outgoing Trump administration.

I'm not saying you're wrong about anything, but what do you think the appropriate response should be?  A strongly worded letter?  A preemptive nuclear strike?  Something in-between?

Yes, something in between obviously.

See governmental responses. Perhaps something Tad short of this considering even Russia isn't the same degree of Outlaw Nation as North Korea, but a limited more targeted version perhaps?

Seems like this was a pretty sophisticated attack.

The appropriate response would be to have US troops patrol Ukraine and Baltic countries’ borders with Russia indefinitely and maybe build a new US military base in Ukraine.

What else is new? Is James Cameron still trying to make 'Avatar 2?'

2 & 3 are filmed. Covid delayed release until 2022. I'm hoping it revives 3D.

“It’s been a frustrating time, the last four years. I mean, nothing has happened seriously at all in cybersecurity,” said Brandon Valeriano, a Marine Corps University scholar and adviser to the Cyber Solarium Commission, which was created by Congress to fortify the nation’s cyber defenses. “It’s tough to find anything that we moved forward on at all.”

Trump eliminated two key government positions: White House cybersecurity coordinator and State Department cybersecurity policy chief.

Valeriano said one of the few bright spots was the work of Chris Krebs, the head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, whom Trump fired for defending the integrity of the election in the face of Trump’s false claims of widespread fraud.

Well, President Putin strongly denied it. I mean, I have President Putin, whom I have tremendous respect for, who strongly denied the hacking. We have lots of hacking going on. Lots of hacking. So much hacking, you're going to be sick and tired of all the hacking. And believe me, I know a lot about hacking. Nobody knows more about hacking than Trump. The Fake News doesn't want to say it, but it's true. So true. A very sad thing to watch. Very, very sad.
