No, Incumbent Harris lost by a wide margin.

-Who was her VP?
-Who did she beat in 2024 and lose to in 2028?
-What happened in the Senate between now and then, beginning with the GA runoffs?

Her VP was none other than Tammy Duckworth.

She beat Ron DeSantis in 2024 and lost to Josh Hawley in 2028.

The senate stayed in Republican hands the whole time. Since you'll all find out what will happen in the GA runoffs in a few weeks, I won't say what happened. One of the biggest upsets of 2028 was that Cory Gardner came back to beat Andrew Romanoff (Bennet retired) in the senate race in Colorado by less than half a point due to the Republican environment. (Though Harris still won there by 7 points)

How has the economy fared over the course of the Biden/Harris administrations? Was a recession why she lost?

The economy fared kinda well. There were economic concerns in the second half of 2028. That, the 8 year itch and some questionable decisions while in office all contributed to her loss in 2028. Hawley also became the first Republican since Bush in 2004 to win the popular vote, He won it by a similar margin as Bush did in 2004, 2.7%.

After narrowly losing in 2022, Donald Trump Jr. comes to win the seat and it wasn't particularly close. Conor Lamb who barely beat Donald Trump Jr. in 2022 lost by over seven points.

Jim Jordan. He's viewed as safe to win re-election in 2030.

Hawley barely won the Hispanic vote 49-48%. Florida voted for Hawley by 8 points and TX voted for Hawley by 7 points.

Did Ted Cruz and Rick Scott run for president in 2024? Did they run for re-election? If so, did they win? If they didn’t run or lost, who replaced them?

Neither of them ran either time. DeSantis was the Republican in 2024 and barely lost. Josh Hawley was the successful R nominee this year.

Are Presidents Clinton, Bush, Trump, and Biden still alive in 2028? If not, when did they pass on? I imagine President Carter passed sometime before 2025.

Both are but Cruz recently announced he would be retiring in 2030, Giving the Dems hope they can finally win a statewide office in TX.

Are Marco Rubio and John Cornyn still in their state’s other Senate seats? If not, who succeeded them?

No. Much like Rick Scott before him, Ron DeSantis became senator in 2028, Winning by 13 points over his Democratic opponent.

Cornyn was replaced by John Anthony Castro who won over Hegar by 8 points in 2026.
