In 2016 .Kasich over takes Trump and on the other side Clinton does not run. Who wins?

I don't see Biden losing this in the first place but Virginia and Colorado?

If you assume Obama still gets elected twice, Not even Biden could avoid the Dem burnout I feel. As for VA and CO, Kasich would be seem as less toxic in the suburbs and both were still viewed as swing states at the time.

Hot take:

✓ Vice President Joe Biden (D-DE)/Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN): 288 EVs.; 50.5%
Governor John Kasich (R-OH)/Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL): 250 EVs.; 48.3%

CO, VA, PA, and WI are all decided by less than a percentage. NV, MI, and NH are decided by between 1 and 2 percent. Kaisch under performs Trump in IA but still wins it by around 3 or 4%, wins OH by around the same. Kaisch overperforms Trump in FL and NC, and narrowly wins the Popular vote.

Kasich was the strongest GOP candidate out of the field and the only one which can cause a landslide
