If the Republicans manage to win NY 22, the house composition will be 222-213, the lowest margin since 2002 and the lowest for Democrats since 1942. If the Republicans also mange to win the Georgia runoffs, the senate will be composed of 52 Republicans and 48 Democrats. If this is the case, will this hold ominous signs already for Democrats in 2022 and the general election in 2024?. Can we read into results this early, this soon? Will you be more nervous about 2024 than 2012? Is there any reason why Democrats should feel hopeful while Republicans should worry?
