A Republican whose morality outways his politics? Obviously he's a RINO.

He doesn't own much to Trump, he was elected AG during the first Bush midterm.

Do we expect a Supreme Court late tonight or most likely tomorrow? I don't think they would wait until Monday if they were to reject it. If they take until Monday would that mean they may be open to siding with Texas? Which I highly doubt they would do. Even if they deny today or tomorrow it would be interesting to see if there are notable dissents listed.

I was looking forward to this being the best Christmas/holiday season in a while, but of course Trump had to ruin that. I just can稚 wait until this asshole finally actually leaves on January 20. THAT is the real Christmas this season.

Imagine celebrating what you (idiotically) believe is the success of a fascist coup that kills democracy.

Covid already made sure that wouldn't be the case.

The Rs are just trying to get it to a House vote, they know Pelosi flubbed the Stimulus and they have 27 Delegates to overturn Bidens win. But, it's very hard to do that, when the Crts see that unlike Hillary and Gore won the Popular vote and Trump lost it.
That's all

106 Republican members of the US House of Representatives who support the Texas lawsuit to overturn Joe Biden's win in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Not really :

Bush/Walker 284
Clinton/Kaine 254

Hillary was really vulnerable in 2016 regardless as CO/VA hadn稚 become strongly democratic yet to provide for the fact that WI/MI/PA was reverting at the very least to pre Obama levels(Obama strength there has clearly been an outlier). Also The GOP had recovered from the wreckage the Taft years did to the Ohio GOP by 2014 as well.

I think Jeb would still lose MI/PA though but having Walker on the ticket gives him WI/IA and gives him the presidency

I have no words really. So half of all GOP representatives in the house actually supports overthrowing a democratic election. Utterly insane.

Any update on when we get a ruling? This is becoming increasingly unnerving because of the dangerous precedent that's being set here. And the longer this sedition goes on, the more damage is done.

Walker almost won a third full term lol in 2018 in a Republican midterm lol. No Bush isnt popular but neither is Hillary and the map in 2016 didnt really favor the Democrats at all.

The fact is the midwest was never as Democratic as Obama made them seem to be and Democrats thought that was the new normal which wasnt the case. John Kerry performances there were more the normal performance for Democrats there and remember Detriot has lost population since 2004.

Also Trump despite doing terribly with Hispanics in 2016 and College educated Whites came within 5 points of carrying Colorado in 2016 so with a non Trump/Cruz candidate I definitely see Republicans carrying CO as a one last hurrah in 2016. The only states I have on doubt on this map is WI/NV and if you give both to Hillary she wins 270-268 which is barely getting over the top.

The reason why Ds are in this bind, due to fact of Pelosi, she refused to compromise on the Stimulus before the Election, that's why Rs have 27 Delegates and she only has a 5 seat majority.

We should of expected that Rs were gonna do everything they could SCOTUS wise to get the House to overturn the Election, let's see what happens and then come to our conclusions, but it's a narrow path for Trump and ACB appears the swing vote and she already decided on the 9/0 vote on declining the PA case

But, Pelosi should blame herself

Imagine celebrating what you (idiotically) believe is the success of a fascist coup that kills democracy.

Well, why wouldn't a fascist celebrate about a (possible) fascist coup, particularly if it kills democracy (that, of course, is the very purpose of fascism...)

IMO, Trumps post election behaviour never made an sense, unless he is aiming for a slow motion coup or wants to instigate a civil war.

And with 18 states and 106 GOP representativs actually joining this move, they made it clear that they support a fascist coup - so they lay the base for either a coup or a civil war - irrespective what SCOTUS decides.

And therefore, what they do is actually treason, and they should be prosecuted for it...

I would expect a ruling sometime today or tonight. Unanimous denial of leave to file suit.
