As we all know, Dane is getting bigger and more D ever election cycle, but I often wonder if there will ever be a ceiling for Dems within the county. How much bluer can it realistically become given its demographics? In low turnout elections they vote 80% Dem, like the WI SC races. I'm talking about higher turnout elections, specifically.

Absolutely it can. I was shocked to see how Democratic the county is, and for how long it has been that way. As the Democrats have done so well rebranding themselves as the party of educated urbanites, I see no reason the trend shouldn't continue. A Harris/Baldwin ticket could easily get over 80% here against, say, Mike Pence and Tom Cotton.
