I think they will probably win it at least once between 2024 2028 and 2032.

No in 2024, if they win that year it'll be solely in the electoral college. 2028 is also unlikely, so 2032 is the earliest possibility,  but a lot depends on how the next Presidential election goes.

Tbh I expect the 2020s to be riddled with one- term Dem-Rep-Dem. presidents before settling on the Republicans in 2032 until 2041 or ‘45. 2032 will be to Republicans what 1992 was for Democrats. A total realignment of party dominance in American government.

My feeling is that the GOP will not win either the PV or the ECV again until 2036 at the earliest. I think it will take at least 14 years for the Republican voter base to get over their worship of Trump, and so it will be that long until they decide to nominate someone who is mentally normal again.

Honestly, I have to disagree, the PV lose was specific only to the name Trump at the top of the ballot. He made us hit floors in deep blue states while reducing our margins in deep red states like Texas. I reeeally don’t expect this conundrum to continue under candidates like Haley, Hawley, and even more so Desantis. Especially when we see racial polarization decreasing

The only chance they would have is if their nominee strongly denounces all forms of racism (including the confederate flag), rejects ALL conspiracy theories, and stops trying to defend Trump's failed presidency. Otherwise, 50-52% of the population will never even consider voting for them, at least until 2032-2036 if not even longer.
