Pennsylvania has a great deal of very talented Democrats. Some would say it has the most talented base in the country. And despite the loss of our Dear Joe Torsella, PA Dems are poised to elect strong liberals for years to come. What are your thoughts on this slate for the future to organize the Pennsylvania Democrats?

2022:
Senate: Josh Shapiro
Governor: John Fetterman
Lt. Governor: Matt Cartwright (assuming he gets drawn into an R seat)

2024:
Senate: Bob Casey Jr. Purple heart  (or he could for the WH lol)
Attorney General: Conor Lamb
Treasurer: Not sure
State Auditor: Not sure

Tom Wolf for senate 2022 would be ideal but all signs indicate he is not going to run.

Yeah he'd be the best but I don't see him running

Fetterman should go to the Senate and Shapiro should go for Gov, but I'm certainly fine with swapping them. Idk if Cartwright would take the downgrade to be Lt. Gov even if he got drawn out.

I am open to the idea of a primary against Bob Casey in 2024, but I'm not sure who would be high profile enough to beat him without the threat of being blacklisted, so it's unlikely. Conor Lamb could run for AG I suppose, but again this would be a downgrade for him even if he were to be drawn out. He clearly has much higher aspirations and he's quite young. Someone like Larry Krasner would be way more likely to run for AG in 24.

Treasurer and Auditor General are impossible to say, there are plenty of local officials who could get the nominations for those seats but I couldn't pick any that stand out to me.

Ignoring our differing views about Casey, but what would the point be? Casey is a relatively safe bet to hold the seat, while nobody else would be.
