Got a little over 250, the map makes it so obvious my familiarity with middle and east TN + Southern KY and Atlanta/North Georgia, and the fact I tend to vacation on the redneck riviera 🤣

Smallest city I named was Clarkrange, TN

I got 662 cities. You can probably guess which states I have lived in or visited based on how many cities I knew.

http://iafisher.com/projects/cities/usa/share/221411

You named 662 cities, with a total population of 86,289,954 (36.80% of the national urban population in 2010).

1. Monowi, NE (1)
2. Mentone, TX (19)
3. Stanley, ID (63)
4. White Bird, ID (91)
5. Robertson, WY (97)

Best states
1. Texas (71)
2. California (68)
3. Washington (28)
4. Idaho (25)
5. New York (25)

Other stats
9 of 9 cities over 1,000,000 (100.0%)
33 of 33 cities over 500,000 (100.0%)
182 of 282 cities over 100,000 (64.5%)

I just tried out the European one as well and made it to a little over 400 cities. I also learned that if you type any pronounceable combination of four letters, there's a decent chance it's a city in Europe and probably Italy specifically.

I gave up at 767, which is not bad given that I am not even American:

https://iafisher.com/projects/cities/usa/share/221695

I got all cities above 500,000 and 74% above 100,000. I also got all state capitals.

Summed together they form 40.42% of the national urban population.

HAHAHAHAHA LMAO

Off the top of my head:
Roma (obviously)
Bari
Alba
Lodi
Como
Asti
Salò
Or for smaller villages, Acri, Nemi, Leni...

I went ahead and continued this (had to stop and get some sleep at the aforementioned 1,167 mark,) but I was able to get up to 1,325 before blanking out. I should note that both Stonecrest and Peachtree Corners, GA, both of which are cities, are missing from this game.

Yes, that does tick me off.

Anyway, final stats:
- 50/50 capitals
- 50/50 states (+DC)
- All cities over 500,000 people
- 221/282 cities with over 100,000 people
- Smallest city: Centralia, PA (10 people)
- Largest city: NYC (obviously)

Best states:
- Georgia (229)
- Texas (119)
- Alabama (103)
- Florida (78)
- California (72)
