I changed it from "Criminal" to "Shunned" do a step up. Under Catholic and most other Christian faiths in the game you can imprison and execute witches.

like 2800ish. I built it up quickly because my Empress has a learning focus and I was able to holy war a lot of Muslim territory in North Africa with undeveloped holdings that I built temples in. And had a ton of gold for a big pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

I did that because it was the closest thing to "sex positive", lol. But also for game mechanic reasons, I'd rather have a lustful than chaste character because it benefits you to have a bunch of children and dynasty members.

LOL I sort of dreamed about this sort of church last night.

(In the dream) I went to church (no masks and in person so no Covid in the dream world), and at the end they did an announcement of upcoming events at the church as most typically do...but then one they announced was some sort of hardcore (music)-themed orgy/BDSM party that was going to happen immediately afterwards, and anyone who wanted to participate could jump on a bus that was coming by to pick us up. So I got on it and instead of going straight to the orgy we just traveled around some rather odd and crumbling areas and people started to get nervous and jumped off the bus. I do recall a sing-along of "Straightedge" by Minor Threat on the bus while we all joked about drinking at the party. And then with it only about a third full we finally stopped at the spot for the orgy...and then I woke up.
