I don’t think 99% of the American population really cares about what kind of “white” a politician is, so Italian Americans have as much chance of getting a president as any other group of similar size. You are asking if there will “ever” be an Italian president, so the answer is probably yes given how long of a time span that is; eventually there will likely be a person of Italian descent elected president.

DeSantis is certainly the most likely candidate nowadays.
