Bernie was the front runner after the NH and NV caucuses. What if he managed to stay on and win the Dem nomination to face off against Trump. Campaign is the same as OTL but replace Biden with Sanders.

Who wins. Discuss with maps

Sanders has clearly said during the primary campaign he wanted to ban fracking, which indeed would have hurt him in Pennsylvania, notably.

Baldwin certainly would have been an interesting choice as a running mate. I’m not sure she could have saved him but she might have helped. I advocated for her as Biden’s running mate, and now depending on how the Senate run-offs go I guess we’ll find out if losing her seat would have mattered or not.
