Hello everyone and welcome to a TL I'll be doing when I'm not busy doing other things, this one will be shorter than most and will follow along in the style of ChairmanSanchez's TLs.  What it is will cover the Joe Biden Administration from 2021-2025 as well as global events, certain people, and the parties. It'll also feature the collapse of the Democrats for at least a decade due to unpopular policies and a soon to be very unpopular administration. I also have a sequel being crafted in my head that I'll continue depending on the reception to this TL. Until then, let's get this show on the road! Also, quick note, all of the house results came when it looked like the Dems would just barely retain their majority, as I started writing and planning this out shortly after the election.

It was finally over. At least, that's what it seemed like. 4 years full of chaos and turmoil that no one really knew what to expect from the WHite finally came to an end and after weeks of fighting, the Trump campaign managed to flip Arizona by the slimmest of margins (within 2500 votes) but in the end, the result was the same, Joe Biden was elected the 46th President of the United States and the States would soon certify the result quickly afterwards. In the Republican Party, ranks quickly formed between those who believed Biden stole the election from Trump and those who believed the opposite and wanted a peaceful transition of power.

Leading the former were the quintet powerhouse of Senators Josh Hawley of Missouri, Ted Cruz of Texas, and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee and Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota and Ron DeSantis of Florida while leading the latter were Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, Mitt Romney of Utah, and Rob Portman of Ohio as well as Governors Brian Kemp of Georgia, Mike Dewine of Ohio, and Bill Lee of Tennessee. Due to the rift that opened in the Republican Party due to this, many feared that there would be a party split as the two factions went separate ways. However, this was stopped when the outgoing President Trump must act as a unified front against the Joe Biden Administration and prevent any of his policies or judicial appointments from going through, a promise that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell pledged to keep and this was followed by him and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy stating that any Republican attempting to compromise with Democrats would face primary challenges in their next election, which for some was 2022.

As the Republicans faced their internal struggle, the Democrats faced their own as well. What they thought would be a blowout against the seemingly unpopular Republicans turned out to indeed be a blow-out, but against them and the far left. The ideas endorsed by members of Congress such as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Illhan Omar, like defunding police, proved unpopular with most Americans and thus the Democrats suffered heavily downballot for it as many one term incumbents went down in either close or devastating losses across the country. At the same time, the result proved to many that it was time for the Party to acquire new Leadership, thus it was pushed that any Democrat that has been in office for more than two terms already must leave the Senate or the House and the failure of the 2020 Downballot races did in fact convince Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to retire in 2022. However, despite this news, fights would emerge as the progressive far left demanded that the party go full on Democratic Socialist in the same vein as Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Progressive Radio Talk Show Host and leading Senate Candidate in New York to replace Schumer Sam Seder. Meanwhile, the moderates demanded these activist politicians be ousted and muzzled lest a potential bloodbath would come their way in 2022.

As the two parties struggled between their internal factions, President Biden sought to rebuild a country that seemed divided and more partisan than ever before. While he would keep out progressives, he decided to throw some red meat to his base by making sure his entire cabinet was either members of the Obama Administration, close allies of his, or Democrats, though upon reaching lower positions, like Ambassadors, he went for a more bipartisan approach, such as his selection of Former Ohio Governor and Fierce Never Trumper John Kasich for the Office of Management and Budget Administrator. He also picked Going into January 20th, 2021, Biden would finally be inaugurated with a situation no man would envy.

Thursday, January 21st, 2021 : President Joe Biden, on his First day, signs two executive orders that would go on to define much of his administration. The first of them being the granting of amnesty for eleven million illegal immigrants across the United States. When being asked why he was doing this, the President stated, "The last four years have been terrible for the men and women who risked everything coming here. With the President calling them rapists, monsters, and things I wouldn't like to repeat, it's really an utter travesty. And Majority Leader McConnell made his thoughts clear when he said, after Senator Perdue won what I think was a stolen race, that the Republican Party will not back any immigration amnesty deal and Senators Murkowski and Collins backed him on it. I had no choice but to this."

The second Executive Order was to institute a Federal Mask Mandate from anywhere between six weeks to half the year in order to battle the Coronavirus Pandemic despite a possible vaccine being on the horizon (likely being available to the public as early as March or April). Texas Senator Ted Cruz rallied many Trumpists and became a thorn in President Biden's side upon giving a speech on the senate floor, saying "This 'President's' national mask mandate is a travesty and will destroy this country. I encourage many Americans at home and across the nation to not follow such an order as it is against the constitution and if any of you are arrested, so help me god I will take your case to the highest court in the land personally."

Following this, Governors Kay Ivey of Alabama, Doug Ducey of Arizona, Ron DeSantis of Florida, Kim Reynolds of Iowa, Greg Gianforte of Montana, Phil Bryant of Mississippi, Henry McMaster of South Carolina, and Kristi Noem of South Dakota declared they wouldn't follow the order and would openly oppose it with Governors Gregg Abbott of Texas, Jim Justice of Ohio, and Mike Parsons of Missouri likely following them. Attorney General Doug Jones and Solicitor General Sally Yates declare that any citizens violating the order could face severe legal repercussions and to defend, the President said "It's to keep the people safe. Simple as that."

Friday, January 22nd, 2021 : In the unofficial kickoff to the 2022 Elections, the Republicans see their first retirement as United States Senator Richard Shelby of Alabama announces his retirement. Shelby, aged 86, stated that he believed he wouldn't be able to live through another term and didn't want to see an appointment to replace him because of that. Shelby, elected in 1986 as a Democrat before switching parties the day after the Republican Revolution in 1994, has long been a fixture in Alabama politics since his days in the state Senate in the early 70s. While it is expected that his successor will face no significant opposition, the quick announcement of the controversial 2017 Nominee Roy Moore has made many Republicans nervous, though the current frontrunners are AL-05 Congressman since 2011 Mo Brooks, the Senator's Chief of Staff Katie Britt, and AL-04 Congressman since 1997 Robert Aderholt are in distant leads over Moore. The sole Democratic Alabama Congresswoman, Terri Sewell who has represented Alabama's 7th District since 2011 (a district likely to be removed thanks to redistricting), has announced her own candidacy and Vice President Harris was quick to endorse her despite her slim chances of winning in 2022.

Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 : Despite calls for Peace and Unity in the country, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York introduces a plan to prosecute and jail the Former President's cabinet and most of his supporters, stating "The last four years have been an utter disgrace and our legislature has become nothing but broken. Our nation the laughing stock of the world, and our constitution one of the most disregarded documents. We need to prosecute the people who enabled the President for these four years and make sure something like him never happens again." Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) of Kentucky was quick to respond to the Congresswoman, saying the following : "What the Congresswoman from New York is suggesting is simply one of the biggest attacks on people in this nation's history. Trump never once prosecuted anyone in the Obama Cabinet because of them disagreeing on policy. It's simply insane." In response, Cortez quote tweeted the speech with an Eye roll emoji.

Sunday, January 24th, 2021 : For the next two weeks, Vice President Harris and Secretary of State Chris Coons will be going abroad to reaffirm America's ties with their allies, continue the previous administration's peace talks plans, and even return relations back to pre-Trump levels. Vice President Harris will go to France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and Spain while Secretary Coons will go to Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Iraq. The United States Ambassador to Afghanistan, confirmed to be Mike McKinley, heads to the country to continue peace talks and hopefully bring an end to the war that has been waging there ever since 1979 with the Soviet-Afghan War.

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) introduces legislation titled 'The Voter Security and Suppression Act' with Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) co-sponsoring it. In it, several of the biggest issues from the 2020 Election are tackled, with it being decided that all votes received by before Election Day must be marked with a distinct symbol that is difficult to copy and commit fraud with. At the same time, Poll Watchers will, at all times, be only a few inches to a foot away from where the votes are being counted, and finally no votes will be counted following the day after Election Day unless a recount is necessary. While this act could pass the Senate, it has a chance of failing thanks to moderates Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) and Susan Collins (R-ME) while Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), who has increasingly become more split from his party on the issues, has indicated that he'd vote Aye if the Bill was hammered out more and he was allowed to add a thing or two. Speaker Pelosi, who is serving out what could be her last term, announces that the bill, if it passes the Senate, will not pass the House, and President Biden has stated he will veto it outright. Former President Trump tweets out "SENATORS JOSH AND TED ARE TRUE HEROES FOR OUR DEMOCRACY! THEIR BILL WILL MAKE SURE ANOTHER ELECTION WILL NOT BE STOLEN!"

Monday, January 25th, 2021 : Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) suffers a fall that takes him out of the Senate for two months after suffering several fractures in his legs. While taken out of commission for the time being, Senator Leahy has indicated that he hopes to overcome the odds and come back just before the vote on 'The Voter Security and Suppression Act'. In the meantime, Senate Republicans are pushing for the extremely popular Governor Phil Scott to run for Senator, citing a recent HarrisX Poll that showed Phil Scott at 49%, Senator Leahy at 45%, and 6% Undecideds as well as him leading 51% to a Generic Democrat's 44% with 5% Undecided. The Governor has stated that he will make his intentions clear by September or October on whether he'll run for re-election, the U.S. House, the Senate, or none of them and instead retire. Senator Leahy has said he'll wait until July to make any announcement but has indicated that he believes he can go through another term.

Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 : Social Media Site Parler becomes the largest such site after continued growth as users from across the political spectrum leave Facebook and Twitter for it. This is despite rampant criticisms and attacks from the Mainstream Media about the site being alt-right and a hub for conspiracy theories, which the creators have the platform has denied fervently.

Wednesday, January 27th, 2021 : When asked by Newsmax Host Trish Regan about whether or not he'd run in 2024, Former President Trump stated 'We'll wait and see, I suppose. We're two years out before most people make announcements and I'm way ahead of everyone already. I'll wait to see if it changes, though I doubt. I'll give a definitive answer after the 2022 Midterms." Upon being asked about his family potentially running for office, as his daughter Ivanka has indicated an interest in running for Governor of New Jersey, eldest son Trump Jr., in running either for Senate in Pennsylvania or Governor of New York, his Daughter-in-Law in Senate for North Carolina, and his son Eric in either New York or Tennessee (where Knox County Mayor is pushing for him to move to) for Governor, he said that it was a long time between then and now but if any of them ran for office, he'd definitely endorse and support them.

Thursday, January 28th, 2021 : With perhaps the slimmest majority in the history of the House, Speaker Pelosi promises to push forward many of the ideas introduced by The Squad despite protests from her moderate members. This includes Defunding the police and introduction of Critical Race Theory in Middle Schools. The Republican has quickly latched on to these ideas and have started to create attack ads to spin these ideas in a negative light and bring the House firmly under GOP control for the rest of the Biden Presidency.

Friday, January 29th, 2021 : President Biden holds a meeting with United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson to reaffirms close ties with the America's closest cultural companions. While in public the meeting appeared friendly, there was reported to be verbal disagreements and loud words exchanged by both world leaders before Boris Johnson left.

Saturday, January 30th, 2021 : Confirming initial suspicions, former First Daughter and former Senior Adviser to the President, Ivanka Trump, announces her intentions to challenge Phil Murphy for the New Jersey Governorship, though she is slightly behind potential nominee Bob Hugin, who was the 2018 Nominee for U.S. Senate. Former President Trump endorses her and Senators Hawley, Cotton, Cruz, and Blackburn endorse her and pledge to campaign to make sure she wins to 'Make New Jersey Great Again!' Most Democrats scoff at the idea of Deep Blue New Jersey electing a Republican, let alone a Trump, after rejecting the family Patriach a year prior.

Sunday, January 31st, 2021 : In an interesting move, the Biden Administration backs Ethiopia in the construction of the Nile Dam, stabbing supposed ally Egypt in the back. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi showed immense displeasure with the President's choice and, with a strongly worded message, indicated that should Ethiopia continue with their Dam, there will be consequences. President Biden has yet to make any comments.

Mike Pence was considered one of the top candidates for the Republican Primary in 2024...unless Trump ran, of course. He had been anything but delighted to see his friend Donald lose and by such a close margin too. It was ridiculous honestly. Four years of helping the American people and the suburbs got duped into thinking that Biden would bring America back to Normal when he was the Vice President under one of the worst Presidents in recent history in economic and foreign policy terms. Pence could understand Donald wanting a run, hell, he'd even be the first to endorse him if he did, but...

He really wanted the job of the Presidency. He was considered a front-runner in 2020 should Trump have lost in 2016 which, thankfully, he didn't, but it was sort of a now or never thing. Trump would be constitutionally limited to not run for a third term if he won in 2024, so he could run in 2028. But the problems lies in the idea that he might not be Trump's VP choice in 2024, instead he could pick Noem or Haley. Heck, there was some speculation that'd happen last year though his friend constantly reassured him that he wasn't going to be replaced. Now, he wasn't so sure.

He smiled as he watched his young daughter Charlotte with her husband Henry. Both were good individuals. Both of them had great futures, he was sure of it. Heck, he was even pushing them to run, Henry for Senate and Charlotte for House. They were both young and were very popular, even in a post-trump Party. He just needed to get Young and his brother to retire. The latter was easy, he could convince him to run for Governor in 2024. But the former would be much harder, he supposed. He shrugged his shoulders. That would be an issue for 2022, not now. Instead, he turned to Marc Short, his Chief of Staff that decided to stick with him after leaving the White House even though he didn't have to, and asked one question : "What does it look like?"

"Bad." Came the reply. The former Vice President was silent for a moment before continuing.

"How bad?"

"With Trump, you're tied with Rubio at 9%. Without him, you're barely leading Cotton, Cruz and Rubio." Jesus, that was bad. 2024 was going to be a crowded field if Trump didn't run, so he shouldn't be surprised, but he still thought he made a good enough impression to lead by a decent margin in primary polls. But that was wrong. He needed some way to flex his political muscle. When looking at the TV Screen, he smiled as he found his answer. "Marc, clear everything for the rest of the day. I think Mrs. Britt needs some help in her campaign, right?" His Chief of Staff smiled back at him and nodded. This was one way to flex his political muscle. Starting tomorrow, he'd hit the Campaign trail, hard and make sure each of his endorsements wins the nomination and the general election no matter what.

Alright, feel free to give thoughts below and also feel free to guess how the 2022 Senate Elections will go. If I've already showed you/told you the results on Discord, you're not allowed to answer. I'll be keeping score of everyone's predictions and who knows, maybe if you make enough close or correct ones, you could have a character appear in this Timeline if that sounds like fun to you guys. Also, if you see this ChairmanSanchez, I hope you enjoy the use of the format and if you'd like, you could help in fleshing out this Timeline a bit more.

Until next time, Ciao!

Monday, February 1st, 2021 : President Biden institutes his third executive order following stubborn resistance from the Republican Majority in the Senate. In this order, he lays out his plan for assault rifles, including : Mandatory Registration under the National Firearms Act, a $200 Tax for Each Assault Rifle owned, and an Extra $200 Tax for each High Capacity Magazine owned. This order is praised by many Democrats who call it decent movement on the gun control front while Republicans use it as a way to say that the President was never going to be moderate in the first place.

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 : The KeepNine Amendment, proposed in Late 2020 as a way to halt any potential court-packing, will hold it's first hearings on the arguments for it and against. It is expected said arguments will go well into 2021 and 2022, likely ending shortly after the Midterm Elections due to the highly partisan nature of the amendment with Democrats calling it an attempt by Republicans to steal the courts while the Republicans say it's to prevent the Courts from becoming a political rubberstamp

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021 : Following weeks of failed Negotiations, President issues his third and what he says to be his final executive order for his first 100 days in office. In said order, he followed the advice of his chief medical adviser, Dr. Fauci, and declared a National Lockdown on all non-essential businesses anywhere from six months to a year in an attempt to keep people safe. Many Republican States, such as Florida, Texas, South Dakota, Mississippi, Missouri, and Montana, refuse to enforce such an order while Democratic ones, such as New York, California, Maine, Maryland, Vermont, and Massachusetts (the last three being the three of the five Biden states governed by Republicans. Associate Justice Neil Gorsuch declared the order Unconstitutional and requested that Chief Justice Roberts bring up Court Dates for both the National Mask Mandate and the Lockdown orders.

Thursday, February 4th, 2021 : Pope Francis passes away at the age of 84. As is tradition, the College of Cardinals are expected to gather in the coming weeks and hold a vote on who they believe should replace him, with the leading candidates being Cardinals Tagle and Parolin due to their age.

Friday, February 5th, 2021 : President Biden hosts Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andres Manuel Labras Obrador. In said meeting, he expresses interest in strengthening ties with America's neighbors and healing the damage caused by the Trump Administration. The meeting is seen by many as a positive as the Biden Presidency continues to work on healing relations that were fractured due to the Trump Presidency.

Saturday, February 6th, 2021 : After being looked at by Joe Manchin (D-WV), the renamed 'The Voter Security Act' is introduced to Congress having his full support. It is expected to go through the Senate Judiciary Committee before a vote is held later in the month.

An African American by the name of Johnny Micks is shot after running from Police in Alabama. This leads to the sparking of outrage in the black community and the creation of another round of protests from Black Lives Matter that is likely to continue well into the year.

Sunday, February 7th, 2021 : Congresswoman Elise Stfanik (R-NY-21) announces she will challenge either Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer or the Democratic Nominee  for the Senate Seat. A poll from Trafalgar shows her trailing Schumer 48-45, leading Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 47-46, and trailing behind a generic Dem 49-44. While widely expected to make the race competitive, she is likely to be challenged by 2018 Gubernatorial Nominee Marc Molinaro, who trails badly.

Vice President Kamala Harris and Secretary of State Chris Coons return from their two weeks abroad on a positive note, stating that America's relations with their allies have been healed and now those nations are interested in further working with a Joe Biden Administration.

Monday, February 8th, 2021 : President Biden gives his first joint address to Congress in which he pushes for Unity in the country and to sow the divides that tear the country asunder. While having nothing of note despite slight success on the foreign policy front. The republican response is hosted by Senator Josh Hawley, who is considered a rising star in the Republican Party.

Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 : A poll released by the New York Times show a 15 point gap between Republicans and Democrats in the Generic House Ballot, which could indicate one of the worst house results for an incumbent party, though the Speaker is confident that the opposite will happen and the Democrats will have a chance at rebounding in 2024 after losing just 10-15 seats.

This was bad news. Wait, no, it was beyond that. The New York Times showed a 15 point gap. MSNBC showed a 10 point gap, CNN a 12 point gap, and so on and so forth. When averaged out, the speaker's party was trailing the Republicans by 12.7%, something that wouldn't be good news to them come election day in a year. Then there was the Senate to worry about. Yes, the Republicans were defending more seats, but most of said seats were safe for them anyways? Did anyone really think Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, the Dakotas, Oklahoma, Idaho, Utah, Alaska, Kentucky, and Indiana would flip? Meanwhile, they were trying to gain stellar recruits and it looked like they could do so with Sununu in New Hampshire and Scott in Vermont. Arizona and Georgia were still to open bags.

"You'll be the end of the party!" screamed Congresswoman Spanberger (D-VA), "Why do you insist on doubling down on this far left nonsense when last year proved the people don't want it?!"

"It's only moderates who lost, not a single progressive lost their race!" Congresswoman Pressley (D-MA) retorted.

"Only because all of you were in Safe Districts. Meanwhile, we lost districts that had trustworthy moderates!" came Congressman Lamb (D-PA)'s response. God, was her party really falling apart like this before her own eyes? Pinching the bridge of her nose, Speaker Pelosi tried to tune out the bickering of her colleagues. Like it or not, the Republicans were likely going to gain the House and Hold the Senate next year. And then definitely didn't like it. However, there was one thing everyone failed to take into account. In 2016 and 2020, the polls were both wildly off...ok, albeit in the favor of the Republicans, but who's to say 2022 would be any different to the trend? Maybe she was getting old, she was 80 years old after all, but perhaps she'd be correct in her beliefs.

I don’t see why Joe Biden would implement a nationwide lockdown without some sort of income replacement. Other than that, this is an interesting timeline that doesn’t seem to far fetched.

2022 is way too early for New York to elect a Republican Senator. It might elect one in 2028 if Ron DeSantis wins in 2024 and ends up facing off against AOC in 2028 however, as AOC is not even well-liked outside of her congressional district anymore due to the fact that she sabotaged the Democrats in a lot of congressional races this year. Ironically, Elise Stefanik would be a great running mate for Ron DeSantis in 2024.

The polls indicate a close race. Will it flip, most likely not as I think the latest NY could become a swing state is in between the 2030s. As stated, Stefanik is seen as the best candidate for the race as Marc Molinaro, the other likliest nominee, is trailing everyone badly (57-40 against Schumer, 50-42 against AOC, 52-41 against Generic Dem)

I think as of right now they're moving to pass a stimulus check? I'm just assuming that that goes through and is extended to last to either May or June of 2021. I do have a plan for the NMM and National Lockdown to be looked at though.

The Republicans have been quick to pounce on this, but polls show Morris trailing 53-44.

A skirmish erupts in the Aksai Chin region of China between Indian and Chinese forces with both sides suffering several causalities (15 dead, 41 wounded, 17 missing for India, 26 dead, 71 wounded, and 28 missing for China). President Biden and Secretary of State Coons immediately respond to these protests and say the people have the full backing of the US Government and should the Iranian Government open fire on these protestors, there will be severe consequences to pay.

Friday, March 12th, 2021 : In a highly partisan vote with the only defection being Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV), the Voter Security Act is passed with a vote of 52-48 and will enter the House the following month. While unlikely to pass, the Republicans only need to convince a single moderate democrat to defect for it to pass to the President, who has reiterated he will veto it. Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO), one of the original two writers of the bill, pledges that even if it fails in the House or is vetoed, he will continue to push for it to be passed so a situation like 2020 doesn't happen a second time.

In Mount Juliet, a suburb of Nashville, Tennessee, a pastor by the name of Greg Locke is arrested after holding a mass of +50 people, most of whom not wearing a mask in defiance of the National Mask Mandate and National Lockdown. Almost immediately afterwards, the two leading candidates, Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Elise Stefanik both announce their candidacies for President.

Well, this was an interesting result, to say the least of it.  Already, just two months into it, and it seemed like the 2022 Midterms were under full swing. Heck, Virginia and New jersey hadn't even elected Governors and already both parties were chomping at the bit for the midterms. Speaking of Virginia, that race seemed an interesting opportunity for Republicans, one that likely wouldn't be able to be exploited again. The frontrunner of the field was Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax, who, if he remembered, was accused of Sexual Assault. If enough people were reminded of that, then it's likely the Democrat vote could be split between him and Riggleman, who was running a pretty decent Independent campaign. Maybe, just maybe, that would give the Republicans a victory, but then again, who's to say the state wouldn't put Riggleman into office? He really didn't know.

On the matter of 2024, he looked at polling. Not good if Donald ran. However, if Donald didn't run, then that was a whole different story. Surprisingly, Nikki Haley wasn't doing too hot, sitting at 9% support. The frontrunners, it seemed, were Ted Cruz, Mike Pence, and surprisingly, himself, at 20%, 17%, and 12% respectfully. He already knew he wasn't going to lose re-election. He was more popular than Graham ever was and had far more appeal. Still, he had to grow his support and wield his political muscle. Pence had already done so a few weeks ago by endorsing Britt. So, why not he do the same, with Stefanik, after all, he could use the riots in NYC as an attack against the Democrats and how New York now, more than ever before, needed a change.

There was a lot of time for that, but for now, he was comfortable just waiting as the news came in.
