There is a thread over on the 2020 Presidential Elections board, started by Tender Branson, where the forum is keeping track of states that have officially certified their results. You could make additional contributions there, if you wished.

Wow Virginia is closer than I expected.

Probably because there wasn't a Dem candidate in VA-9.

Wow Virginia is closer than I expected.

In addition to there being no Democratic candidate in the 9th district, I believe Joe Biden did better to much better in the 3 House districts the Democrats flipped in 2018 than the 3 Congresspeople did.  Not certain about the 10th district as to how much better Biden did than Jennifer Wexton.

I think I saw somewhere that he won the district by 20 as she won by 13.

Aren't these two viewed as more reasonable Republicans, even if they are firmly conservative? Wittman, in particular, seems to be well-liked by his constituents, and ran well ahead of Trump, who barely won his district.

Three more states have certified as of yesterday and posted the numbers on their websites.

I'm not sure if Washington States' numbers are official and I'm having problems reconciling Maine's certified results with their total votes.

Massachusetts 3,304,030
Democrats:     2,482,596, 75.1%
Republican:       699,001,  21.2%
Others:             122,433

New Mexico     903,684
Democrats:     495,781, 54.9%
Republicans:   407,786, 45.1%
Others:                 117

Why did Ben Ray Lujan underperform?  Also, is Ben Ray Lujan related to Michelle Lujan Grisham?

Texas            11,093,626
Republicans:   5,897,182, 53.2%
Democrats:     4,926,203, 44.4%
Others:              270,141

Total So Far  52,428,609
Republicans: 26,767,851, 51.1%
Democrats:  24,743,271,  47.2%
Others:            917,487

Total Presidential votes in these states for comparison

Total votes:  54,218,050

Democrat:   26,106,069,  48.2%

SC results are at least provisionally certified by now. Unless someone filed a protest, which would have to be filed within two weeks of the election, the results are final. If a protest was filed, which I haven't heard of any, nor were any of our U.S. House races close enough for a protest to have a realistic chance of success, then the State Board of Canvassers has up to twenty-five days from the filing of the protest to hear it, and thus in theory could be not yet done. Since in the closest race, Cunningham conceded once the results were certified, I think it's safe to say they're final.

1.I believe I was right on Maine, there were discrepancies in their reported official results. Of course, I could have written the numbers down incorrectly, but I don't think so because I don't seem to have written any other numbers down incorrectly, and I would have had to have written several numbers incorrectly.

Initially, I'm pretty sure their official reporting had Trump at 356,737 votes, but that has now been changed to 360,737 votes.  This reconciles the total number of votes with the Presidential vote totals.

2.ElectionsGuy is doing the same work I'm doing here.  If you stick to my thread, I promise two chickens in every pot!!!!   Actually, I think it's good that we can check on each others' work.  This is his thread:  https://talkelections.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=412352.0

I certainly hope these two threads aren't combined and I note they haven't been so far. We are both doing our own independent work and combining these two threads would make for a confusing thread.

These are the additional states that posted certified results as of yesterday.

Maine:         809,214
Democrats:  468,978, 58.0%
Republicans: 340,236, 42.0

New Hampshire:  786,806
Democrats:         413,895, 52.6%
Republicans:       354,045, 45.0
Libertarians:         18,866

North Carolina 5,325,946
Democrats:     2,661,236, 50.0%
Republicans:   2,631,336,  49.4
Libertarians:        19,596
Others:               13,778

Total so far:    59,350,575
Republicans:   30,093,468, 50.7%
Democrats:     28,387,380, 47.7
Libertarians:        519,683
Others:               450,044

Total Presidential votes in these states for comparison

Total votes:    61,366,038
Republican:    30,748,979, 50.1%
Democrat:      29,650,354  48.3
Libertarian:         688,957    1.1
Other:                277,748

I'll go back and separate out the Libertarians from 'others' in the other states. I'm kind of rooting for them in these calculations.

From reading Tender Branson's thread in the U.S election section linked to above, it seems pretty clear to me I'm being blocked in a number of states from seeing their certified results because I don't live in the United States.  I will see if I can access them by going 'incognito.'  I don't have or want a VPN.
