Final bets anyone?

I think Barnett squeaks in out by less than a percent against Oz

Barnette by 2 or 3.  She's got the late momentum.

Wonder if this guy changed his vote because of the stroke? /s

Penn?  Maybe PQG could drop by and say hello to him. Wink

Would be nice, but John is at Lancaster General (which is not too far from where I live) and I believe PQG is out in Philly at Penn Tongue

Oops, I just keyed on the word "Penn". Smiley

Barring a miracle, I don't really see how McCormick can make this up.

If Oz loses by a handful of undated mail ballots, Trump might have a stroke.

Meanwhile McCormick conceded, so time for a new thread title.
How about a sh**tty witty pun about “The wonderful wizard of Oz”?

We're off to flee the lizard...

You really are out here defending every single thing that every GOP member does. Must be exhausting.
No more than you defend every single thing the Democrats do.

Splendid! Sounds like you folks have reached an agreement.  Is it time for lunch yet? Tongue

One of them will say yes, the other will say no.

Vote for the #populist Purple heart working class everyday man John Fetterman.

Real talk - Fetterman needs to blast ads like this. Brutal.

So Oz should be ashamed of the fact that he worked hard and became rich, unlike Fetterman who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and lived with his parents in his 30's?

Oz doesn't exactly come from a poor background either.

Well, he might be right.  It's entirely possible that the types of businesses visited by megamillionaires would be hurt by Fetterman's policies.

Going to bookmark this thread when Oz wins. The Oz Derangement Syndrome is real.

Usually having net negative positives among your own party is considered and losing by up to 10% in the polls in a R-wave year is considered 'concerning'
The same polls that had Biden up 13 in Florida right?

Yep.  Also the same polls that nailed the 2020 Georgia margins in the Presidential and both Senate races.  Don't cherry pick.

I now do wish McCormick won the primary and he may have without polls showing Barnette in 2nd lol.
McCormick wouldn't have been any better, in fact he may have been worse. TV personality is slightly more appealing than a hedge fund manager lol.

The issue is Oz doesn’t seem to be actively campaigning

I'm getting the impression that some Republican candidates think that all they had to do is win the primary and then they can sleepwalk to victory in November due to the environment, even in competitive states.  Oz is in this category and so is J.D. Vance.

I'd say it's time to rename the thread?

Suggestions: "Mr. Braddock vs. the New Jersey Doctor"; "The 51st vote?"

"We're Off to See the Wizard"

"Wizard vs. Ogre"

Hey, have we seen any recent polls from this race?

538's polls page for the race says no; the last one shown is a Cygnal poll with survey dates June 17-19.  Fetterman led 48-44.
