Am I a terrible person for thinking it would be perfect if Fetterman had put "doctor" in quotation marks?

What even is the Oz campaign strategy at this point? They're just throwing a bunch of mean, racist, ableist sh*t at the wall and seeing what will stick

You gotta be a really sick human being to attack these poor men like this

They're truly (and rightfully) just making Oz look like a total ass.

Fetterman literally sounds 90-95% back to normal in the interview from last night. In a free-wheeling interview, he seems to do way better with his speech with off the cuff stuff. I wonder if he has a harder time with some of the reading off the prompters or remembering campaign event lines from memory since those seemed to come off a little bit more rough at some of the events.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVZ54a0K3a0

I watched the interview and my biggest takeaway is that Fetterman's wife seems like a great asset to his campaign. She can hit the campaign trail on her own and probably be a benefit to the campaign.

Honestly, she seems more well spoken that Fetterman himself in some ways (stroke aside). She feels relatable, genuine, and politically savy but not in an overly direct way. She also just seems like a fun person.

I've noticed on Insta a lot if not most of Fetterman's post include his wife and they do pretty equal speaking so it really seems like they're really in this together and she's taken on a very active role.

Gisele is phenomenal at working the room at an event and yet simultaneously making you feel like you are the only person she's there to talk to.  The first time I met her she hugged me and told me she was glad to see younger folks in rural PA standing up.  If I could vote for her instead of John, I would.     xD

As someone who has watched (part of) one of Oz's pseudo-science magic pill episodes, no, you aren't  terrible.

I will say, Fetterman/Dems need to step up their TV ad game. Not sure how this is happening since Oz is broke and he needs help from NRSC/SLF and Fetterman/Ds HAVE money. But in a short time today, noticed 3 Oz ads (2 CLF, 1 NRSC/Oz), 1 positive Shapiro ad, and 0 Fetterman ads.

NYT article on "Pennsylvania stakes its claim as center of the political universe":

Quote
“Perhaps no other state features as many high-stakes, competitive races, each pulsing with political currents shaping midterm campaigns across the country. The open race for governor between a right-wing political outsider and a veteran of the Democratic establishment may determine both the future of abortion rights and of free and fair elections in a large presidential swing state.”

“The personality-driven, increasingly ugly Senate contest — shaped by clashes over celebrity and elitism, crime and crudité, and a candidate’s health — could decide control of the chamber.”

It def seems like the most important swing state given it's relatively large share of EVs and being the tipping point in 2020. It's also a state it's hard to see go heavy left or right anytime soon cause there's a lot of counteracting shifts.

It will go left considering what's been in the news with Trump and Fetterman and Shapiro have WC appeal just like Wolf and Bob Casey Jr, The Rs aren't gonna win it anytime soon because in 24 Bob Casey Jr is on the ballot so it's a left leaning state now, especially since Trump has been accused of Espionage

He built his entire fortune from breaking it, so it probably should have been on your card.

Trump is hilarious, Oz should be calling him a stoner instead of a socialist.

Only politico would interview people as a Trump rally and write it up as a win that Oz was winning them over.

Tbf at least 80% of the folks at that rally will prolly vote for Oz come November. It’s really a question of if that final 20% shows up to vote for him or not or votes for some alternative/blank.
