From what I understand, Fetterman's one of the strongest possible candidates, if not the strongest, for the Democrats. Hopefully he doesn't face Fitzpatrick.

I've long been skeptical of Fetterman, but I've come around.  I strongly endorse this move.

That's what I'd like to, but it's not going to happen.

Why did he announce this today--this couldn't have waited for a slower news cycle?

Emailing his supporters today, Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman is exploring a Senate campaign in 2022. A $15 minimum wage, legalization of marijuana, unions, and greater protections for the LGBT+ community are his top issues, from Twitter sources.

Donated and endorsed.

He's only exploring right now tbh but also it's been heavily rumored for like 2 years lol

No, I get that, but if the goal of making an announcement is to get media attention...I just think there's a slight possibility that people might be talking about other things right now.

My full enthusiastic endorsement of Fetterman.

Part of why Sanders losing this primary was so distressing to me is because I quite frankly don't think there's any other figures on the left in this country who were as tactful with rhetoric and as popular as he was. Who will fill that void? AOC? John Fetterman? Remains to be seeen.

Jigsaw falling into place.

Can't wait until Nov 2022 when polls show Fetterman coasting to victory only to end up comfortably losing, because of course

My favorite politician in the country and the strongest possible candidate. He’s one of only a few truly good, honest people in politics, and I can’t wait to volunteer for his campaign. No better man than Fetterman!

I can easily see his campaign becoming a national cause celebre for Democrats. Seems like a terrific candidate.

How well would Fetterman perform in Chester County, PA in the general election?

I’m still on board with Reschenthaler, because the others are too moderate for me.

As Reschenthaler's constituent, you do NOT want this guy in the U.S. Senate.

He seems like the PA version of Mike Gallagher. It's not like we're talking about Senator Doug Mastriano here, are we?

Enthusiastically endorsed. He'll probably face an uphill battle, given the kind of year 2022 will probably be, but he's probably the best candidate Democrats could run, and definitely has a shot.

Yikes. Tbh I used to think he would have been a decent backup if Costello/Fitz/Dent didn't run.

That's not much different than what we hear Ron DeSantis and Dan Crenshaw talk about. That doesn't bother me.
