Is there any scenario where this race isn't Fetterman v Parnell?

Yes, the scenario where it's Fetterman vs. Dr. Oz, of course: https://freebeacon.com/politics/dr-oz-prepares-to-jump-into-pennsylvania-senate-race/

With the candidates pretty much avoiding going negative up to the point, it will come down to name rec + "likability" which benefits Fetterman two fold. He likely has this primary wrapped up.

This statement does not take into account the possibility of the DSCC and/or other prominent establishment Democratic figures endorsing someone else and elevating that person, right?

I'm almost certain that the DSCC's position has been not to meddle in primaries in the midterms.

I hope Dr. Oz enjoys the significant increase in work/decrease in pay he's signing up for.

Parnell, Barnette, Gale, Dr. Oz - The GOP senate PA bench is literally a clown car.

I didn't even realize that Dr. Oz was a Republican or that he leaned to the right. But I doubt he would win the Republican primary.

Democrats thinking populist rural voters will vote for Fetterman just because he looks like a big tough guy is just as stupid as Republicans thinking they'll get 25% of the black vote if they nominate Candace Owens for president

Well, Youngkin got close to 25% of the black vote and he's white.

Exactly. It's not about looking like a big tough guy or being black, people don't vote on what you look like.

Youngkin did not get 25% of the black vote.

Yup. National environment may still catapult one of these clowns into the senate though. That's literally embarrassing. We'll see.

"This won't change the fact that he is going to be the next Senator from Pennsylvania."

-SnowLabrador, probably soon.

Don’t you see? Obviously his wife is a paid political actor who went undercover marrying him to throw dirt in him!

there are lots of lies in a divorce procedures to try to have the most favorable decision possible.
So the accusation comes at a suspicious time. if it was true, it had to be said before.

Based on the sh**t hes been "d as saying in TV as well as gratuitous sexual violence in the novels he wrote, this is hardly out of character. I mean, make excuses if you want, but there's a distinct pattern here that goes far beyond allegations in a divorce..

He's registered to vote in PA.

You're correct, which is odd, since as far as I know, he has no permanent residence in Pennsylvania.

Looks like he voted in NJ in Nov 2020 and then in Montgomery County, PA in the GOP primary in May 2021.

The way I see it, if Parnell is the nominee, Dems can lose every competitive race next year and still win PA.

Thinking about this further, I shouldn't be too surprised about Oz's political allegiance. I believe he and Dr. Phil both were criticized last year for comments which they made about the pandemic.

Conor Lamb lies about receiving donations from PNC, a company his father works and lobbies for, and joining Republicans to gut a regulation that would've impacted banks like PNC:

One wonders why he would even bother lying about publicly available information, but you can expect such brazen and defiant subversion from Moderate Hero Conor!

I mean, to be fair, this race was always going to be nationalized because it is one of the most important races for deciding control of the Senate. Along with Wisconsin and maybe North Carolina, resources are going to be poured into PA from both sides.

Interesting to see which candidate the right-wing propaganda press is attacking. Of course I think most people ignore the Intercept’s lies at this point, but as you can see from this forum, they still do manage to bamboozle some people.
