Friday, June 4.  Boston, Massachusetts
(Blerpiez walks onto the stage)

It is time for a change.  Our great district is the place where freedom began to come about in 1775.  Our district contains some of the first places to guarantee freedom from slavery, freedom for women to vote and people to have equal rights regardless of gender and race.  We have been the leaders for freedom often in our history, and look what is happening now.  Our senator has been inactive for almost two weeks now, and while he was active, he often showed himself to be against progress and moving toward a better future.  He is not what is right for this reigon if we want to move forwards instead of backwards.

As Senator, I will vote to help the downtrodden all over America, and to better our foreign relations.  These are the nessessary steps to improving our future, by promoting equality for all and making America a more respected part of an ever-increasing and always more important international community.

We are a great district, and deserve a great senator.  Vote for progress and better tomorrow.

I would like to announce that if the senate districts are not changed before the upcoming elections, then I challenge senate candidate Blerpiez to a debate in the upcoming week. I believe district 1 voters deserve a chance to see both candidates defend their positions on a wide range of topics.

I will make a Blerpiez rally sign that says 'Keep the carpetbagger out of New England!'

The fact that I'm actually moving to NY and that whether I win or lose, I won't be leaving the region, doesn't seem to sway you. And the fact that that's all you have against me is even more pathetic. You're like a Tweedy bird.

3 for 1. Shapeshifter, Blerpiez and Nation are all running for the seat, at least I assume shapey is going for re-election.

Yes everyone knows, but that was a crazy time, and he still able to post here for nearly a month afterwards. I think he's just taking a break after getting into too many arguments.

I wonder if Andrew will make a return to the political arena?

Darn good candidate and he could do very well in this race Smiley

In a way a bit like Thune in SD, just better Smiley

Blerpiez Campaign ad -
[patriotic music plays over flag background]
Throughout his career, Blerpiez has worked tirelessly to promote the welfare of people nearby [video of Blerpiez giving food to people at a soup kitchen] and far away [videos of Blerpiez bringing goats to farmers in Africa and faraway places].  In this age of war and violence, we need people to give a helping hand to those with less privelidges than ourselves.  We need people who will  bridge the gap between America and the rest of the world.  Blerpiez is the right person to do this.  Vote Blerpiez-a better present for a better tommorrow

You guys are welcome to use the Senatorial Debating thread I set up:

http://www.uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?board=13;action=display;threadid=4577

But if you want to keep it in your own thread, I can understand that.

For the record, I'm also a member of the caucus, even though I'm only a firm supporter in the first trimester.
