Can the mods please delete all of these stupid threads that are overwhelming this board and making it useless?

This political discussion forum is apparently a place for sock accounts to make threads about Walter Mondale to make their internet buddies laugh, I guess? Save that sh**t for Discord. It's obnoxious.

We're talking about an election that's not even close to having begun. Hell, the term for the winner of the 2020 election hasn't even begun and won't for a couple months. Who honestly cares if people want to spam this board with joke speculative posts right now? There really just is no serious discussion of 2024 right now and there can't be. If it bothers you so much why not just avoid the 2024 board?

I’m worried that Republicans will nominate Bob Dole in order to exploit Mondale’s youth and inexperience.

No, it's funny and we might as well because there won't be anything to discuss about 2024 for months.

I made this thread kinda for that reason. I’ve been getting annoyed
With the “what if every single conservative who currently walks the earth ran for the nomination” so I guess this a poor attempt at satire cause I didn’t think anyone would/should take any of these seriously

Given both Carter and Mondale are alive, I'd say just revive the good old Carter/Mondale ticket for 2024

Would be a great pick. Sadly, Walter Mondale is dead.

The above exchange reveals a big advantage Mondale has. If no one's sure if he's even alive how can you attack him?

And if they do attack him we can spin it into them being a monster for speaking ill of the dead

You don’t have to worry about any of this anymore!

I would seriously consider voting for Walter Mondale if he were alive.

I voted for Mondale in 1984.  I could not convince my girlfriend at that time to do so.  I almost had her convinced, but her family convinced her to vote for Reagan.

If you could go back to 1984 and change your vote, would you still support Mondale?

I thought it the right thing to do at the time.  I wasn't thrilled with Mondale, but I did not agree with Reaganomics.  (I actually agreed with the Reagan Budget Cuts but not the Reagan Tax Cuts.)

I know, but if you had the chance to go back and change your vote, would you take it and vote for Reagan - or would you still stick with Mondale?
