Nobody really watches these things live. It only hurts him much if he really stumbles into a gaffe like McAuliffe which can be used in an attack ad. Just being "uncharismatic" isn't enough. (And it won't hurt Masters either, even though I think it's a joke to equate the two. But I'll forgive this forum for not being good at reading people.)

Not sure but his effect seems to help Masters (by making him look sane/moderate and doubling down on anti-incumbent fever, if not specifically targeting Kelly).

Kelly and Masters both demonstrating how politicians will struggle to speak clearly on abortion post-Dobbs. The issue can't simply be left to catchphrases anymore.

edit: Also catching on to how the more scripted Masters gets, the more robotic his hand motions are. He's gone to the same motion like five times during this rebuttal.

edit2: Once again, the Libertarian coming up with an absurd option that nobody even considered (hyper-local abortion restrictions) and making it sound more ridiculous by getting hysterical over it.
