Donald Trump will be given a second (and permission to run for a third and fourth term) by the Supreme Court in about two weeks from now.

If Biden isn't president on January 21, then Harris is. There will be a new president no matter what.

a) There are no legitimate legal grounds for the courts to overturn the results.

b) If the Supreme Court were to overturn the results somehow despite the fact that Biden won both the PV and the EV it would have only one logical outcome: Revolution.

So, yeah, Biden will be President from January 20 onwards.

Honestly, the Republican side would have the upper hand if another civil war broke out and the Supreme Court can overturn the election results based on “law and order” reasons.

If rule of law and respect for democratic institutions prevails, then yes.

Of course he will be president. If the election result is overturned by nefarious means then the good people of DC (the very same ones that were celebrating yesterday) should follow the example of Parisians in 1793.

Right now his supporters are basically whining that the process isn't over yet so you can't declare a winner. And it's true it's not technically over. But it's like they're down 30 with 2 minutes left, we know how it's going to end up even if the result isn't officially official yet. We just have to wait them out.

The Supreme Court thinks otherwise. Wait until they issue their opinion in a few days.

It won't be through the courts. Electors still need to be selected, vote, be counted, and then confirmed--this is where they'll make their move.

There’s nothing for the Supreme Court to do. The only way they can change the outcome of the elections is entirely ruling absentee ballots as unconstitutional. That’s not going to happen. Chill.
