Apparent domain registrations for John Merrill, Gary Palmer, and Jessica Taylor. Do they know something we don’t?

They may just be guessing based on his age.

Rs are gonna have a problem with retirements, just like Rs didn't want to be in the minority in the House, even if Rs are in the majority, they don't want to be in Senate under a D Prez.

So far Toomey and Shelby
Johnson and Burr are expected to face stiff challenges, they are close to retiring

He is retiring. Katie Boyd Britt is his former chief of staff -- she's close to him. Wouldn't be registering a domain name for a senate campaign unless she knows he's stepping down. He will probably endorse her.

Doug Jones is going into the Biden cabinet so no.

Shelby will be replaced by a Republican who will win. I think they will more carefully consider who to pick to avoid a Roy Moore situation in 2021.

Shelby didn't vote for Moore, so he seems same compared to whatever alternative the Alabama Republican Party will churn out.

Rep. Mo Brooks is already in his mid-sixties -if he takes Shelby's Senate seat, he isn't serving more than three terms.

Shelby has been around for a long time, it’ll be interesting to see who replaces him if he retired! Two Southern Senators retired for health reasons and were replaced by women appointees, maybe that happens here once again.

If he isn't this time, he probably never will and ends up being a lifer.

How much are website registrations a thing in predicting who actually ends up running? I think it's kind of hilarious checking this out almost 2 years out in oracling (is that even a word?) who might run.
