Trump and his crime family should all be bankrupt and in jail within six months.  LAW AND ORDER

If Americans truly believe that nobody is above the law, then this stuff about prosecuting Trump being too divisive should be dismissed as nothing more than concern trolling.

Same as whether Hillary Clinton should be prosecuted for using her own email server for private emails.

It is not in the benefit of the country.

Hillary Clinton was ultimately not prosecuted due to any concerns over that nonsense but because the prosecutors determined she lacked mens rea.

Donald Trump being held to account for his (alleged) crimes is definitely in the best interest of the United States.

Outside of the basic argument of punishing the guilty it
1.Sends a message that 'nobody is above the law.'

2.Sends a message that Trump was a rogue President who should be regarded as such for historical purposes.

3.Hopefully sends a message to at least some of his idiotic and/or loony supporters that the accusations against him were not 'fake news.'

There is this argument put out by enablers of wealthy/powerful people to the average people whenever one of them is charged with a crime "you just want to punish this person."

Ummm, that's the primary purpose of jail.

Republicans in Oklahoma just voted down sentencing reform in Oklahoma, what sort of argument is there?

Republicans: We want criminals to be punished!

Also Republicans: But not Donald Trump!

FBI literally investigated for a year and their official finding was that it was inappropriate but not illegal--not to mention Trump had four years to find dirt on her or prosecute for something and still had nothing. Trump not paying his taxes on the other hand is literal tax evasion

Trump could get done for the Stormy Daniels payment.

Send them all to jail. That's the only way we keep this country from being destabilized by Russia, Saudis, etc.

The Trump Crime Family, Bannon, Manafort, Stone, Giuliani, etc. -- they ALL need to be thrown in jail. They're all compromised and working on behalf of our enemies abroad. If their actions and words don't make that immediately obvious (and, well, they do), follow the money.

Notice that no one here can name a specific crime.  What they want is carte blanche to investigate Trump until a crime is found.

That's not how a free society works.

LOL he may have spent decades laundering money via his properties (the FL sale to a Russian oligarch in the most expensive residential sale at the time stands out), possibly committed tax fraud and has intentionally withhold his taxes, etc. And this doesn't account for the illegal hush money payment to Stormy Daniels, among other countless crimes he may have been involved in. All you need is to believe your eyes and ears.

And he hangs out with criminals BECAUSE HE IS ONE. Surprise, surprise. See: Flynn, Bannon, Stone, Manafort. There's a reason why Putin, MBS, etc. love him. It's not because he's a pristine, lawful individual. Where there's smoke there's fire. That's how criminal investigations work. If this happened to be anyone other than Trump you'd be singing a different tune

So you're ok with your tax dollars being embezzled? I'll remember that the next time you complain about how President Biden is spending government money.
