Also check the NYT 2020 shift map for Alabama and Mississippi. Black rural counties appear to have consistently swung towards Trump, but its under everyone's radar because the only swing state where black rural voters really matter is North Carolina.

Couldn't a big part of that be because of AA population declines in the black belt?

I think the GA rural black vote might have swung slightly toward Trump based on results in the black belt (e.g., Hancock county), but turnout was also way up so were still pretty integral to Biden narrowly taking the state.
