I think actually it will fade away somewhat. Based on what we’ve already heard from many Congressional candidates who lost or barely won, seems like there’s going to be a push to distance ourselves from excessive “woke” rhetoric.

If they were wise, they would purge most wokeness now. Everyone trying to "out woke" one another in the primaries damaged the Democratic party this year.

I'm hoping for this outcome. Woke rhetoric helps no one but woke policies are good and sometimes popular.

This, I think that performative moralism from the left or right is a political loser. The right suffered significant backlash in the 2000s when the religious right had more sway over the party electorally. Now they have just as much power and maybe moreso given the current Supreme Court but they're in the backseat. Democrats would do well to emulate that.
