There is absolutely no reason that Rahm Immanuel should be getting any position in the administration. I don't give a sh** that Biden may like him personally. Not only is it wrong morally, but it's political malpractice. He's not well-liked by anyone except a few establishment elites. He should never be mentioned again.

Please no Rahm. The dude should not be anywhere near the admin. Tanden would actually be a better fit for DHS rather than OMB.

Tanden I mostly disagree with from an optics perspective, policy wise she might be among the better options, at least for feasible Biden nominees. However, Emmanuel would be an abject disaster from both perspectives. Hope they sink his nomination if he gets it.

I actually like Neera, but through her controversial Twitter presence she's made herself too much of a lightning rod to serve in the Cabinet. The same with Rahm and his criminal justice abuses in Chicago. I understand Rahm is a great fundraiser and that's why he was picked, but at some point optics matter. My hope is that Warren and Bernie are a no on both.

Rahm hasn't been picked. Atleast not yet anyway.

Under a two-week order that New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham issued this month, golf courses and state parks "must reduce in-person operations by 100%." The order also tells residents, "You really should not be leaving the house unless it's an emergency or for an essential need like food and water." Residents who do venture beyond their doorsteps "must wear a mask," indoors and out, regardless of how close they are to people from other households. The only exceptions are for people who are "drinking, eating, or under medical instruction." The rules explicitly say people must "wear face-coverings while exercising," even "outdoors."

arbitrary, unscientific tyranny that opposes people's psychological and recreational health needs with no demonstrated benefits.  She has no business being considered for HHS.

Neera Tanden wanted to cut Social Security and said that Libya should pay us back. Lets not pretend that she isn't a crazy neoliberal hawk.

Neera Tanden’s confirmation hearing culminating in Bernie Sanders giving an impassioned defense of her based on “also having been judged unfairly based on tweets”.

No place for Jon Tester & Joe Manchin?

Hey, why not Sherrod Brown, Jared Golden, Andy Kim, Mark Kelly, and Maggie Hassan? Let's make it a party!

While Tanden isn't a bad pick in my opinion, showing a major faction within the party the middle finger isn't a good idea. And I doubt Biden intends to do so. He should and likely will pick some progressives that can win confirmation for other posts to have some balance. He already has done so with the economic advisory board. The Dems need a certain degree of unity moving forward to stay in power and expand their appeal to the electorate.

One cheated on his wife while she had cancer and the other might be connected to Epstein so I don’t think they will
