Do you guys worry that Democrats will nationalize these races too much for their own good, kind of like what happened in ME?
Georgia isn't Maine.

If you mean before midnight, absolutely not.

If you mean before sunrise....maybe??? But, news outlets are likely going to be cautious about calling since certain important political figures are claiming the entire Georgia election system is rigged.

If Democrats don't pack the courts and make DC a state now then they deserve to lose their majority in 2 years.

How would/could we get DC statehood through a 50/50 senate? I'd love that, but do you really think Manchine would?
Changing the rules and ending the filibuster for statehood.

Perdue gets a small boost, but it won't last
It was Coffee County dumping all their votes. Everything left is from Fulton, DeKalb, and Hancock.

edit: according to politico

Who the heck was the Jewish Deep South Senator in the 1880s?

That would be David Levy Yulee of Florida, and Judah Benjamin and Benjamin Jonas, both from Louisiana.
New Orleans was the largest city in the South until 1950, and as result Louisiana was the most "cosmopolitan" Southern state. So electing (by the legislature, of course) two Jewish Senators in the early post-reconstruction era shouldn't be too surprising, I suppose.

How long until Ossoff runs for President?
Based on Biden first running in 1988...2036.
