Ossoff lead now about 200k in DeKalb, up from 88k, would mean he's still down about 3k statewide. Caveat is that there are still about 20k early in-person left to count and 10k absentee by mail countywide.

This is the best election night for Dems since that historic night in November 2008.

Jon Ossoff isn't entirely out of the woods but Perdue's path would require basically everything possible to go wrong for Dems in the remaining dumps.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Ossoff actually beats his needed benchmarks in DeKalb.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand MillennialMAModerate. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of neoliberal politics, most of the analysis will go over a typical poster's head. There's also MillennialModerate's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Greek mythology, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of his analysis, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike MillennialModerate truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in MM's existencial catchphrase "This is over, you're an idiot if you think Democrats will win," which itself is a cryptic reference to the Epic of Sisyphus. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as MillennialModerate's genius unfolds itself on their computer monitors. What fools... how I pity them. 😂

And yes by the way, I DO have a D-MA tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 Atlas post points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

I don't believe in CNN, unless they made a typo, in which case they're actually right after all and David Perdue definitely still has a chance. Am I getting this correct?
Gabe Sterling just clarified on CNN, it was a typo.

The more this goes on...the more I think it may end up being Perdue/Warnock

You too now? There's nothing out there that suggests Perdue is remotely likely to win at this point.

For once can an election just wrap up before midnight?

I mean ever since the Iowa caucus it's been one dragged out marathon clusterf--k after another.

Can we PLEASE just have a normal election for a change?

Come ON, DeKalb!

Wonder how MillennialModerate is reacting to getting Georgia horribly wrong, again

My Texas-sized hand is still extended in truce to MillennialModerate

NOTHING?

Jesus Christ. Half the board will have me blocked and I’ll be knocking on the door saying uh.... why is Perdue still a Senator?

In retrospect, it was dumb for Perdue and Loeffler to think that rural voters would reward them for saying the election was rigged more than suburban voters would punish them for saying their votes were illegitimate. That seems designed to anger Biden voters with little benefit. They could have just acted like other Senators (eg Cornyn) and been mildly sceptical of Trump’s claims. Going all in on Trump made a bad situation worse for them.

Thank god the Senate runoff wasn't in New York, or this board would be going insane all the way to February.
