Surfie is very sassy (and funny)! FF.

Literally no one here said that Atlanta turnout is low or that Republican turnout is massive... Most 'turnout reports' posted in this thread seem to imply the exact opposite.

Did Woodbury send you a buddy request?

I heard from Governor Gillespie that Atlanta turnout is low but Republican turnout is MASSIVE.

First off, he's not a Governor and never was as far as I know

Secondly, he is a known partisan, so take what he says with a grain of salt. Also; why exactly would he be getting data we don't have

Thirdly, where did you see this?

He’s joking

Oh lol. I'm always terrible at detecting sarcasm for some reason and take things way too literally.

Being serious here, but after putting all the anecdotal stories together it appears that the Atlanta area (both Dem and GOP areas) are having very strong turnout, while the rest of the state appears to be lacking.

Can you post a compilation of all of the anecdotal stories?

MT Treasurer had the anecdote about Cherokee County.

Charles Bethea, a Atlanta based New Yorker reporter, has many tweets about varying levels of turnout across the state

Atlanta Journal Constitution is also reporting low turnout statewide.

Ugh. Was really hoping we'd get a nice thunderstorm near Atlanta's suburbs to get some nice dramatic takes on rain depressing the turnout of the masses of Biden-Perdue suburbanites.

If this ends up being a very narrow Dem win because of low e-day turnout, I'm gifting Lin Wood everything I own.

To be fair, sarcasm is a lot harder to detect on the interwebs than face to face.

What websites will have the best (and fastest) data for the election results?
If this has already been posted, can someone just copy and paste it below (which includes all the website  links).
Thank you.

You should thank Trump way more than Lin Wood if that happens.

DDHQ usually has really speedy results, but errors are common. The AP/CNN/NYT have slightly slower but more accurate results.

Or you could have some real fun and open up the county election results pages for every single county in GA and refresh those pages every minute or so

For what it's worth, I had an e-mail exactly like this one appear in my work inbox late last night:

I've talked to a few other Georgia voters who also received this e-mail. (Interestingly, everyone I've talked to received it at their work address.) I don't expect it to make a huge difference if it's directed at Atlanta-area office workers, but anything that depresses election-day Republican turnout is noteworthy.

Looking at the GA wait times maphttps://gaelect.maps.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=788d66921af74355a107d133a84608d9, it appears there really aren't heavy wait times anywhere in the state right now. The only areas where I'm seeing precincts of waits for 5 minutes (but all 10 minutes or less) are Dekalb, Fulton (Sandy Springs area), Rockdale, Chatham, Athens-Clarke, and Catoosa.

Do you actually support Ossoff/Loeffler (if so - YES!), or is this just a meme?

Isn't the low wait times partially a function of a very short ballot?  I would think most voters would be done really quick with actually voting, much different than with a general election ballot. That most be somewhat of a factor I would think.

This could definitely be true although this should have also applied to the early in-person voting, when we did see long waits in several counties.

It is, and a lot of these wait times are kind of unreliable and there are a ton of counties that just don't report them. I'm personally not really looking at the weight time numbers at all.
