I'll send the first person to recommend this post $10 if both Ossoff and Warnock win. Remember, I pay.

I think everyone should be careful with their expectations. That includes expectations of when we’ll know with certainty who won.

I think we know after midnight, Republicans win as any rational predictor would be able to see

Remember that time that you couldn't stop responding to every single post with "Biden can't win Georgia?"
Remember when you told people they were naive for thinking Biden could win Georgia when he was down by 5000 votes and the remaining vote was all from the Atlanta metro?

Pepperidge farm remembers.

I know, MillennialModerate is so annoying. Off-topic, but would you like to get an avatar like all of us? It's super easy, you just go to "profile" then to "Forum Profile Information" and pick an avatar. You don't even have to pick a state/country, you can select a historical avatar like Prussia or the Roman Empire!

I am once again asking VARepublican to stop harassing posters without an avatar.

The city of Atlanta polls have closed an hour later (8 pm) in past elections, but I'm not sure if this is a standard thing.

Oh my god WHO CARES. Nothing matters until 7.

I actully disgree with this

This is one of the few times that I think turnout can tell us a lot about who is going to win the election even before 7pm

The reality for GOP is that unless they get over 1 million people to show up to vote than this electon is most likely over and the only question is going to be how big will the Dems margin of victory end up being

Georgia will find a way to make the counting slow, trust me.
Have to find those extra ballots to put Warnock/Ossoff just over the top.

Well the thing is we won’t know exactly what turnout will be until the votes are counted. Also we don’t know exactly how big turnout Republicans need to win. So it’s all pretty pointless speculation here.

Wait time 1 minute, light turnout, Republicans not voting ...

I know why:

All the Republicans are planning for tomorrow already, driving to Washington to storm the US Congress building to take the Democrats hostage so that they cannot certify the election !

That would be hilarious if after discouraging absentee voting, a lot of Republicans also didn't vote on Election Day because of Trump's stupid little DC rally.

We may not have the exact numbers but it will be blatantly obvious to everyone if 1 million people did not show up to vote today.

you dont have be a math wiz in order to notice that so far turnout is not anyhing like it was during the November presidential election and if that does not change over the next few hours than the GOP is in big trouble.....

I was sent one also this morning, and was surprised to receive it. I haven't made a decision one way or the other on it. While I'm not as antagonistic towards him as other posters on here-in fact, I've only interacted with him maybe once or twice in the past year-I'm not fond of much of what he posts.

Regarding Dalton (Whitfield County), at 1:43 pm:

Quote
Turnout in Whitfield was “steady” Tuesday morning, said Mary Hammontree, the county’s registrar. There were lines early at a polling station in a Varnell, she said, but they have since died down.

“It is a steady pace today… not like piled up with long lines, but steady,” she said.

Pretty sure Atlas just went through 5 cycles of saying canidate X and Y were doomed because early vote numbers are terrible/amazing based on anecdotal evidence from random people, most of whom are known partisans

I heard from Governor Gillespie that Atlanta turnout is low but Republican turnout is MASSIVE.

First off, he's not a Governor and never was as far as I know. He lost in 2017. You must be from some alternative reality

Secondly, he is a known partisan, so take what he says with a grain of salt. Also; why exactly would he be getting data we don't have

Thirdly, where did you see this?
