Ossoff's campaign has been impressive to me. I'll be highly disappointed if he doesn't do better than Warnock. He deserves to do 2-3% better than Warnock imo

He still seems pretty generic, but he's sharp for such an inexperienced person
I’m sorry, but you’re bound to me disappointed than. In such a polarized race the difference won’t be more than 1%. Perdue also seems to be a stronger candidate than Loeffler.

Perdue was in contact with someone who had Coronavirus and has to quarantine.

Edit: Wishing him good health.

I do not want to see any praise of Mr. Perdue in this thread!!! The only Perdue we should be praising is Perdue Chicken

He's definitely a very sharp guy. Do you get the feeling he's gonna win?

I agree, but if he loses this one, I'm not sure he can run in the near future again. Third times charm? Maybe.

If Ossoff wins, he is seen as a 2028/2032 presidential contender

He'll be a top 2026 target by Republicans

Ah, the final plot twist that is the finale of 2020. In any event, I hope he recovers quickly, doesn't pass it to anybody, & loses the race.

Do you guys think that Kelly Loefller being such a poor canidate inherently helps Republicans by making ticket splitters more likely to go the Perdue-Warnock direction as opposed to even split in how ticket splitters split their ticket?

So does Perdue quarantining mean that he will not be able to attend the Trump rally in 4 days?

Also- do you think this has any effect at all on the race?

Wow, what a considerate consensus builder and pragmatic mask wearing moderate. Quarantine bump should only help him more in the suburbs

I was wondering if this could be the aim- or trying to avoid having to talk about the $2000 Stimulus.

In an election this tight if Perdue thought the quarantine would cost him votes- he either wouldn't quarantine, or he would do a modified version without making it public.  My guess is he quarantines for maybe 2 days (he prob would not have campaigned NYE & NYD anyway) and then announces he is safe all of a sudden to come out of quarantine.

or maybe his pollster has told him that he really is in a bad position, and this is some sort of hail mary?

Random question how much better would Johney Isakson be doing against Warnock compared to Loeffler?

Isakson would have been easily reelected (in 2022, that is, when his term would have expired).

Would the results next week be any different if it was Warnock vs Perdue & Ossoff vs Loeffler?

To be fair- I think she took a photo with a khan guy (without knowing he was).  But considering her unfounded attacks against Warnock- I'm good with everyone thinking she is a Klan sympathizer!

A former member of the KKK attended a Loeffler rally, got a selfie with her (as she didn't know that he was a former Klansman), & upon the discovery of his status as a former Klansman, he was apparently removed from her event.

Hot take: Ossoff will actually do (slightly) better than Warnock.

To me, it seems like Perdue and Ossoff are both the less offensive canidates with less dirt compared to Warnock and Loeffler, who have been more heavily attacked.
