I’m shocked that Hoffman lost despite all that. Usually Dems do better in education superintendent races than other row offices.

Were there any other notable education races this year? It seems like voters punished her for COVID and being a D was not necessarily an advantage this time around, but I would love to see how other similar races fared. That and Tom Horne was not MAGA, even if he is scandal ridden and embarrassing.

Has Hamadeh said anything btw ? He probably has a semi valid claim due to the election day fiasco. Its not gonna get it overturned in a lawsuit but he atleast has a viable claim to claim a "stolen" election.

He doesn't even have to ask for one; under Arizona law, a recount is automatic if the margin is less than 0.5% (the current margin is about 0.02%)

National Republicans really seem enraged or at least very frustrated with Arizona,  I'm seeing more complaints from the right wing about Arizona than about anything at the national level like taking the House or not taking the Senate.

and some people think Ducey will be GOP senate candidate in 2024 lol...he seems to be despised by GOP base in AZ. I remember him having low approvals with Republicans in some recent AZ polls too
