Same reason the MSM took forever to call Texas and Florida for Trump: trying to make Trump's results look worse than they are and continue their narrative that he's wildly unpopular.

They haven't counted any mail-ins yet IIRC and this state uses a lot of them.

They haven't counted a single absentee (~55% of the vote) and won't start doing it until Tuesday. Presumably the second they open them, the race will be called.
