As best I can tell, this is the complete speculative list.

Will any of these people run?  You must choose, Atlas.

I'm torn between hoping it will be a moderate and hoping it will be one of the crazies. If it's a moderate I don't have to fear them winning, but then it's much more likely for them to win.

That depends on what you mean by "moderate." An obvious corporate hack who isn't even populist but socially moderate is going to deenthuse the base.

After 2020's turnout, there should be little doubt: Trump was not particularly weak within the context of the 2016 Republican field. He was one of the strongest candidates that year, if not the most effective.

Pence, Haley, Cotton, DeSantis, Scott, Cruz, Hogan, Scott, Rubio, Noem.

Sasse 50/50

Write in: Ducey, Ernst

Doesn't Ernst have really low approvals?

The only person I'm a little confident in running from the online right wing personality thing would be Ben Shapiro. That or Alex Jones, but I think Ben has a big enough following that he could do decently well in the primaries.

Well, she just won reelection by nearly 7 points against a really good challenger, so I assume her approval polls are fairly inaccurate.

To your point though, I expect she won't go far in the primary.

Greenfield was good, but there have been plenty of stronger IADEM candidates than her in the  fairly recent past.

Preferably someone who values our democracy and its institutions, and would seek to revitalize them.  Though perhaps like my hopes for a 1980-style realigning election this year, that's probably a pipedream.

My greatest fear is that Republicans are still hell-bent on destroying our democracy, and to that end they will choose someone smarter, more subtle, and with more finesse who would accomplish the same end that Trump aspired to.  An Octavian instead of a Nero/Caligula, in other words.

Pence will be the nominee, defeating challenges from candidates including Cotton and Haley

He will select Cotton as his running mate, but will lose to either Biden or Harris, probably Harris.

DeSantis, after being a two-term Governor of Florida, will be nominated in 2028. He will lose to Harris.

Assuming no Pence or anyone named Trump. Tried to get a similar breakdown to the 2016 primary, with a few wildcards that I haven't seen predicted thrown in:

Sen. Tom Cotton
Sen. Ted Cruz
Gov. Ron DeSantis
Rep. Matt Gaetz
Franklin Graham
Fmr Amb. Nikki Haley
Gov. Jim Justice
Gov. Kristi Noem
Sen. Rand Paul
Sec. Mike Pompeo
Sen. Mitt Romney
Sen. Marco Rubio
Sen. Ben Sasse
Ben Shapiro
Kanye West

Assuming Trump doesn’t run, will we see a flurry of suddenly rising and falling insurgent candidates riding that Q train like in 2012?

What "moderate" do you not fear? Everyone listed is to the right of 2012 Romney.

I guess that just goes to show how distorted the left-right spectrum has become in America.

By "moderate" I was referring to, on this list, Hogan, Baker, and Kasich.

Hogan and Baker at least are genuine moderates, but that also means they have no chance in a primary. Kasich is center-right but actually called out Trump many times, so also has no chance.

I hoped it was one of the crazies in 2016, so I think that should help you make up your mind.

I’m pretty sure Trump will run again and that makes it messy, what elected Republicans would not want to see him back as a party leader? I’d guess Cruz, Sasse, Rubio, and Rand Paul as a start.
